I have worked with a variety of temperaments and am able to handle dogs who express aggressive behavior towards other dogs/people. I have cared for dogs of all sizes, cats, as well as fish and reptiles. I have administered medications to cats and have used brushes to help with shedding for both dogs and cats. Overall, I love animals and feel confident that I will be able to care for yours!

This was my dog’s second stay with Sylvanna and I’m so glad we found her. She kept me updated, sent photos, and made sure my dog got plenty of exercise with walks and hikes. It gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing my dog was in good hands while I was away. Sylvanna is the first name I look for when I’m boarding my dog!
Sylvanna was truly the sweetest and took such amazing care of my girl, Biscuit! 💕 She went above and beyond with long walks, hikes, and little adventures that Biscuit absolutely loved. She always sent the cutest photos and updates, was super communicative and flexible, and made me feel completely at ease knowing Biscuit was with her. You can tell she genuinely loves and cares for the dogs she works with. I couldn’t recommend her more and would trust her with Biscuit again in a heartbeat!
Sylvanna was great with Nala. She knows how to make an anxious pup feel right at home. Nala really enjoyed her visit and we will be back for sure
Sylvie has been amazing with my 5 year old golden, Teddy! Prompt updates and Teddy is always worn out and happy! Can’t wait to have her back in the fall.

Schedule
I am currently a student with a very flexible schedule. On a typical day I have upwards of 5 hours of free time in which I would be able to walk, check in on, and spend time with your pet. I love spending time outdoors and walk every day, so taking your dog for a walk works in with my daily routine perfectly! Overall I am very flexible with scheduling and will adapt to whatever times I need to be there for your fur-baby!

Safety, trust & environment
In my home I have a large, fenced off backyard far with minimal potential hazards. I have a variety of toys for both cats and dogs, as well as food and water dishes. While I do have a cat of my own, she is friendly and I am able to keep her in a separate part of the house. I live in a quiet neighborhood with little traffic and with plenty of walking trails and parks nearby. In your home I will adjust to whatever tasks you need me to complete for your pet, and will of course do all the basics such as walking, feeding, playing with, changing litter, brushing, administering medication, and whatever else you/your pet needs!

A typical day
I love taking dogs on long walks and playing fetch with them! For more energetic dogs, I enjoy jogging. For cats I like to play with toys and petting (depending on how social they are)!
