5 ⭐️ Care for your Fur Baby
We are a couple with a golden retriever and chocolate lab that love boarding. We know how stressful it is leaving your fur baby home and we are happy to care for your dog knowing that she/he will be like ours and will never be left alone. We adore our fur babies and have catered our vacation schedule dependent on pet sitters and so we understand the importance of feeling the trust that your fur baby is in good hands and will be the only one looking after at all times so you can be totally stress free. I am in my 50s and will be the primary dog caretaker. I grew up in France with dogs and cats at home and always with pets around with my family and friends. I then worked and travelled many places around the world and now live in Thunder Bay with Yogi, Choco and my wife who is a physician at the hospital and travels for work. My dog motto is a balanced, healthy and happy dog through exercise, discipline and affection. Using dog psychology with calmness and assertiveness. Dogs are my best companions and great teachers of love awareness. Yogi and Choco are certified therapy dogs with St.John's Ambulance and visit various long term care homes in Thunder Bay providing dog therapy.

Sylvain was very organized and thorough when it came to collecting information about my dog, Dennis, to prepare for his stay. Sylvain is excellent with his own dogs, Yogi and Choco, which left me with confidence to leave Dennis with Sylvain. He provided regular updates and my dog Dennis got lots of walks while he was with Sylvain. Dennis was one tired dog when it was time for him to come home! :-) Thank you Sylvain! Would recommend his services.
Sylvain was fabulous to deal with right from the start. His intake process is great, it allowed us to feel confident and comfortable knowing that we would be leaving our dog in the hands of someone who was kind, serious, and committed to her care while we were away. The meet and greet is excellent. Sylvain sent the perfect amount of updates with photos! He gave her plenty of outside time which she loves, including long walks in the bush with his dogs. He took the time before watching our dog to research the breed to get to know more about them. We thank Sylvain for his patience and expertise with our dog.
Sylvain was absolutely wonderful!! He took great care to ensure he understood my dog's personality and needs and provided me with daily updates and pictures. I would absolutely leave my dog with him again and I highly recommend him to all pet owners. His care for animals and attention to the details of their well-being is very clear. Our dog was in very capable hands with Sylvain. We felt 100% confident while we were away which was such a relief. He was very thorough about her care plan and made sure it would be a good fit with his own dogs. Sylvain was very responsive and kept us up to date with frequent pictures and videos. He took exceptional care of our fur baby walking her multiple times daily. We highly recommend his care!
Sylvain has great communication skills with dogs and can clearly bond with them. I am certain he would provide top notch service and would highly recommended him for any pet owner!
Sylvain is a dog whisperer. He knows dogs so well and has raised 2 incredibly gentle and loving dogs. He loves all animals and provides care for them like they are his children. He is diligent about their schedules and needs, and will always juggle his schedule to cater to theirs to ensure that they have structure and routine. My dog loves him immensely and is ever so excited when he comes over. I am quite protective about my dog but Sylvain is someone I wholly trust to care for him.

Schedule
I am home full time so your furry friend will be looking after at all times. I will cater my day around your dog stay and his/her needs. So you can be sure that your dog will be safe, comfortable, well looking after, relaxed and happy. We will do our best between me and my wife to supervise your dog all the time. Except during long boarding when I will do some errands (no more than 2 hours). For safety your dog can be created at that time.

We have a large fully fenced backyard to play and chill. We will board and care with one or two dogs from the same family only. If your dogs is needing to be crated for his/her comfort that will be available in our home. Specific dog training can be added to our daily routine.

A typical day
Walking! Cuddles! Toys! Outdoor play! Fetching! Brushing! And really what your fur baby needs! I really believe each dog has a unique temperament and I will cater to the needs of your dog. Dog Training can be added to our routine. Yogi and Choco go for off leash walks from our backyard twice daily about 20 to 50 minutes in length. I will always start walking with your dog with a leash, then if you are comfortable and your dog recall is satisfactory we could go off leash. We will discuss how to manage the walk when we meet and greet 1 & 2. If your dog is a senior or a smaller pup and has special needs and restrictions with walks I will accommodate whatever their needs are.
