5 ⭐️ Care for your Fur Baby
We are a couple with a golden retriever and chocolate lab that love boarding. We know how stressful it is leaving your fur baby home and we are happy to care for your dog knowing they will never be left alone. We adore our fur babies and have catered our vacation schedule dependent on pet sitters (sometimes worried as the sitter is away for too many hours and staying with too many other dogs) and we never want that for anyone! That’s why we want to provide this service so you leave your fur baby knowing they are in good hands and understand the importance of feeling the trust that your fur baby will be the only one looking after at all times so you can be totally stress free. I am in my 50s and will be the primary dog caretaker. I grew up in France with dogs and cats at home and always with pets around with my family and friends. I then worked and travelled many places around the world and now live in Thunder Bay with Yogi, Choco and my wife who is a physician at the hospital and travels for work. My dog motto is a balanced, healthy and happy dog through exercise, discipline and affection. Using dog psychology with calmness and assertiveness. Dogs are my best companions and great teachers of love awareness. I provide for the dogs who met Yogi and Choco and stay with us already Doggy day care, as Drop-in visits. I can provide additional dog coaching sessions to improve the relationship with your dog and/or correct unsolicited behaviour. Yogi and Choco are certified therapy dogs with St.John's Ambulance and visit various long term care homes in Thunder Bay providing dog therapy.

I felt at ease knowing how well Cubbie was being taking care of by Sylvain. Everyday Sylvain would text message updates on how well Cubbie was doing and also sent pictures and videos. Cubbie definitely was having fun and got a lot of exercise! If you are looking for a place for your 4 pawed animal Sylvain is a good choice!
Sylvain took the time to meet and greet our pup as well as introduce her to his dogs. He provided lots of updates and our Tudou had a great time under his lovely care. Thank you!
I can’t recommend Sylvain highly enough! From the moment I dropped Sailor off, I knew she was in great hands. He sent detailed daily updates, photos, and videos that gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was obvious he truly cared about her and took the time to understand her personality and needs. Sailor was treated like part of the family. She got plenty of walks, playtime, enrichment, and lots of love and patience while she adjusted to a new environment. Sylvain even shared thoughtful observations about her eating habits and behaviour, which showed how attentive and experienced he is with dogs. When Sailor was picked up, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I couldn’t have asked for a better boarding experience. Thank you, Sylvain, for treating Sailor as if she were your own. We’ll definitely be booking with you again!
Sylvain was very organized and thorough when it came to collecting information about my dog, Dennis, to prepare for his stay. Sylvain is excellent with his own dogs, Yogi and Choco, which left me with confidence to leave Dennis with Sylvain. He provided regular updates and my dog Dennis got lots of walks while he was with Sylvain. Dennis was one tired dog when it was time for him to come home! :-) Thank you Sylvain! Would recommend his services.
Sylvain was fabulous to deal with right from the start. His intake process is great, it allowed us to feel confident and comfortable knowing that we would be leaving our dog in the hands of someone who was kind, serious, and committed to her care while we were away. The meet and greet is excellent. Sylvain sent the perfect amount of updates with photos! He gave her plenty of outside time which she loves, including long walks in the bush with his dogs. He took the time before watching our dog to research the breed to get to know more about them. We thank Sylvain for his patience and expertise with our dog.
Sylvain was absolutely wonderful!! He took great care to ensure he understood my dog's personality and needs and provided me with daily updates and pictures. I would absolutely leave my dog with him again and I highly recommend him to all pet owners. His care for animals and attention to the details of their well-being is very clear. Schedule
I am home full time so your furry friend will be looking after at all times. I will cater my day around your dog stay and his/her needs. So you can be sure that your dog will be safe, comfortable, well looking after, relaxed and happy. We will do our very best between me and my wife to supervise your dog all the time. Except during long boarding when I will do some errands (no more than 2 hours). Depending of your dog’s temperament and behaviour, and for his/her safety, he/she can be created at that time.

We have a large fully fenced backyard to play and chill. We will board and care with one or two dogs from the same family only. If your dogs is needing to be crated for his/her comfort that will be available in our home. Specific dog training can be added to our daily routine.

A typical day
Walking! Cuddles! Toys! Outdoor play! Fetching! Brushing! Relax time! And really what your fur baby needs! I really believe each dog has a unique temperament and I will cater to the needs of your dog. Dog Training can be added to our routine. Yogi and Choco go for off leash walks twice daily about 20 to 50 minutes in length. I will always start walking with your dog with a leash, if you are comfortable and your dog is comfortable off leash we can discuss that when we meet and greet. If your dog is young and energetic, she/he will get extra street walk and exercises alone. And if your dog is a senior or a smaller pup and has special needs and restrictions with walks. I will accommodate whatever their needs are.

- We would want to know anything that is important for your fur baby and you. We will cater all the care to the individual specificities of your dog needs. I offer a complementary first visit at your home to meet your dog and start to know your fur baby in his/her own environment and go through all the questions you may have. Then an additional meet and greet is arranged with Yogi and Choco at our home to introduce the dogs to each other, starting in the backyard to have some play time or a walk to get your fur baby acclimatized to our place.
