Pet care experience
Animal loving english teacher
I have been a high school English teacher for 5 years and looking for part-time work. I have loved animals my whole life, and am available weekday evenings and all weekends. I have had experience walking, house-sitting, and playing with dogs and loved every second of it. I have been a volunteer at the Humane Society as well as a shelter in Spokane, WA where I attended college at Gonzaga University. I have been heavily involved in animal rights clubs in both Idaho and Washington and have a strong passion for the well-being and treatment of animals. I would love to take care of your pets and give you the peace of mind that I would want from someone taking care of my own pets. Thank you!

I have two cats of my own and make their well-being a priority. Both cats stay indoors and get as much love & attention as possible. I cannot board animals in my home.
Ratings and reviews
Sydney arrived punctually, established quick rapport with Benji, and took him on a tiring and productive walk. I would not hesitate to hire her again in the future if she was available.

Sydnie was great! She was able to step in last minute to watch my cat for two days. Mordy really enjoyed having her visit him too.

Sydnie was great with my pup, Nala! Very communicative and I appreciate the updates + photos.

Sydnie is great to work with and took wonderful care of our pup. We will use her again!

Sydnie has always done a great job looking after my elderly cat. She makes sure he gets the attention and care he needs and I would recommend her to everyone!

Sydnie took such wonderful care of my two cats, reactive dog, and house, during a week-long housesitting. The pets were calm and happy when we got home. The house looked great. She communicated clearly and appropriately about the pets’ needs (including a dog vomiting episode). I look forward to confidently working with Sydnie again!
