I enjoy going on walks all over Capitol Hill and can adhere to any walking schedule you already have in place! I enjoy throwing toys or playing games with any pets and trying to keep their routines as normal as possible.

I have been a high school English teacher for 5 years and looking for part-time work. I have loved animals my whole life, and am available weekday evenings and all weekends. I have had experience walking, house-sitting, and playing with dogs and loved every second of it. I have been a volunteer at the Humane Society as well as a shelter in Spokane, WA where I attended college at Gonzaga University. I have been heavily involved in animal rights clubs in both Idaho and Washington and have a strong passion for the well-being and treatment of animals. I would love to take care of your pets and give you the peace of mind that I would want from someone taking care of my own pets. Thank you!

Sydnie has always done a great job looking after my elderly cat. She makes sure he gets the attention and care he needs and I would recommend her to everyone!
Sydnie took such wonderful care of my two cats, reactive dog, and house, during a week-long housesitting. The pets were calm and happy when we got home. The house looked great. She communicated clearly and appropriately about the pets’ needs (including a dog vomiting episode). I look forward to confidently working with Sydnie again!
Sydnie did an excellent job house-sitting while I was gone! The pets where happy and the house looked great when I got back.
