Pet care experience
Experienced Dog Walker & Sitter
I have cared for dogs my entire life, with extensive experience handling large strong dogs. I grew up with a German Shepherd and pit mixes, and as an adult I adopted, raised, and trained my own lab–pit mix. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and puppy care. I have firsthand experience with dogs who need extra patience and attention, including anxious dogs, dogs with mobility limitations, and high-energy dogs. One of my dogs experienced significant anxiety during thunderstorms, so I became very familiar with recognizing stress signals and helping a fearful dog feel safe and comfortable. I also helped raise a 75 lb pit mix who required two knee surgeries and rehabilitation, and I regularly help care for my parents’ 100+ lb pit mix. All of my dogs have been rescues, and I take a patient, attentive approach to each dog I meet. I adjust to their individual needs rather than expecting them to adjust to me. Recently, while on a solo walk, I came across a lost dog shaking in the middle of the road. By staying calm, giving her space, and letting her approach me at her own pace, I was able to gain her trust, safely secure her, and contact her owner. I always prioritize safety, clear communication, and making sure each dog feels secure, comfortable, and cared for.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I currently live in a pet-free apartment, so I provide care in the client’s home, including dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and puppy care. I believe dogs are most comfortable in their own environment, and I prioritize keeping their routine consistent and low-stress. I always take time to meet a dog beforehand when possible so they can get comfortable with me and I can learn their needs and personality. I approach each dog calmly and respectfully, allowing them to set the pace when building trust.
Ratings and reviews
Sydney stayed at our house over a weekend. We came home to a clean house and happy dogs! She followed instructions perfectly and made sure one of our dogs took his meds. I highly recommend her.

Schedule
I’m currently a law student with a fairly flexible class schedule, so I have availability for dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and puppy care throughout the week. I’m generally available in the mornings, around midday, and in the late afternoons and evenings, with some variation depending on my class schedule. I’m happy to work with each owner to find a schedule that fits their dog’s routine, and I can often accommodate requests with advance notice.
