I have done dog bathing/grooming for five years, then moved into human medicine. But my passion for animals followed me, and I have been house/dog/cat sitting for the healthcare providers I work with and fellow medical assistant for just over two years. I have experience with more high maintenance dogs/cats including those with health issues, behavioral issues, or mobility issues. Whether it's a chihuahua or a great dane, I respect an animal's boundaries and that has carried me well through life caring for them.

I treat any animal like they're family, and will also adhere to their daily routines. I find that it helps decrease any possible anxieties and stress for them by sticking to their normal daily routines as much as possible. If they want to cuddle on the couch or in bed, that is completely okay with me, I'll take all the snuggles I can get!

She was absolutely wonderful! My dogs loved her, and I felt comfortable knowing they were in good hands while I was away. She was attentive, noticed when something needed to be cleaned up, followed my additional requests, brought in my mail, and kept me updated throughout the visits. I really appreciated her flexibility and how well she cared for my dogs and my home. I would definitely book her again and highly recommend her!

Sydney is very kind and accommodating. When she came to my house she noticed some packages on the door step so she picked them up and brought them into the house. Zero loves her. I am so thankful she was able to give him his medications.
I have had Sydney watch multiple dogs several times in the past few years. We always have her stay at our house because that’s more calming for our pets. She’s very clean and respectful and a good communicator. We have some high needs dogs with anxiety and she does a great job of calming them down, including with administering medication. She would do great with dogs or cats. And even helped out with our aquarium while we were out of town. It takes so much anxiety off my shoulders to know that my pets are well cared for and are calm and happy when I get home :)
Sydney was amazing. It was love at first sight for me and my dog. She was so caring and compassionate. I enjoyed the pictures she sent to confirm he was doing good. I will have her come again next time.
Sydney is a very caring and observant pet sitter. She has watched both my dog(corgi) and my cat(rescue) for almost 3 years. She absolutely loves and adores all animals. My animals have always been very comfortable and playful towards her. She even cares enough to clean their eyes boogies! She has always gone above and beyond with the care for my animals. Sydney has clipped their nails and even got our dog addicted to walks. She is always my first choice when it comes to the care of my animals! Sydney is amazing with weekend care or even as long as a week!

Schedule
I'm currently working weekdays as a medical assistant from 8am to 4:30pm M-F with the availability to leave during my lunch break to provide potty breaks to your fur babies. My clinic is closed weekends so I will be available all weekend.

- It's good to know beforehand your pet's temperament so that I can be prepared on how best to make them feel safe and comfortable while in my care. I've worked with dogs that have had a rough start to life and dogs who simply have strong boundaries that I don't want to cross. It'll keep us both safe to know if your pet has any triggers that I should avoid, such as being picked up, being pet on their head or tail, or food aggression. I'm still absolutely willing to work with them, it's just good to know ahead of time.
