You know how they say that if you love what you do, you won't work a day in your life? Well, this is especially true for Sydney. She LOVES animals like I've never seen before. She gets right down on the floor with any animal she comes in contact with and loves them as if they belonged to her.

She has watched our dogs for 4 years now and she is amazing with them. She ...

One defining trait about Sydney is her love for animals; not a day goes by when she doesn't see one and squeal with joy about how much she loves it. Her love for dogs is unparalleled and just last night she told me about a dog abuser she had recently learned about and her immense frustration over how people can treat dogs so poorly. There's no question that she will absolutely adore your fur children ...

Unending love for your furry baby!

Hello! I’m a very responsible college student at Elon University. I have several years of experience with both dogs and cats at two shelters in my home town, one being the SPCA. I fed and walked dogs, cleaned cages, and helped with veterinary care. I fed cats, checked for fleas, cleaned litter boxes, transported SPCA cats and kittens to adoption events, and managed them while at events. I also raised a young, orphaned kitten ...

What Sydney would like to know about your dog

I would like to know if your dog has any problem behaviors, such as if they constantly try to get into the trash or into food and if they have any allergies or medications that they require. I’d also like to know if your dog gets along with adults, children, other dogs, and large crowds. Living on a college campus, everybody wants to pet a dog, so it would be good to know if your dog gets stressed by a lot of people. I love all dogs, although it might be slightly more difficult for me to keep “aggressive” breeds such as Pit Bulls, Boxers, and Akitas.

When Sydney watches your pet

We’ll go on walks around campus, so your dog will definitely get a lot of attention, and we can play on the lawn. My dorm also has a huge common room with a big couch where your dog can snuggle and nap. I can also work on basic training with your dog, if you’d like. For cats, I'll definitely play with them if they're up for it, but if not, they're more than welcome to nap on my bed.
