About Sydney S.

Safety, trust & environment

I'm well experienced with feeding schedules, administering medication, potty breaks/cleaning litter boxes, and keeping spaces clean and tidy! I strive to leave homes I visit better than I found it. I'm also known for taking lots of silly pictures of your pet to send alongside daily updates.

Information Sydney S. would like to know about your pet

Any medications, special needs, dietary requirements or anything of the sort is important for me to know before I come watch your pet. Temperament, anxieties, and general commands/training your pet may know is also incredibly helpful. I'd prefer to meet your animal in person and be given a run down of all the basics before I start taking care of them, just to get to know you and your pet. This can be as simple as a quick meetup in your home or at the park.

A typical day

I love to take dogs out for a walk, or go to the park with them! If not, I love playing with toys, fetch and tug-of-war especially. I'm also a huge couch potato, so if your pet just loves to snuggle and be pet, I'm more than happy to offer my lap to them, no matter the size! (My family's German shepherd has no regard for personal space, I'm used to being smothered lol)

Pet care experience

I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs, and have 2+ experience petsitting dogs with special needs. I'm the mom of two whites tree frogs, so I'm also well versed with reptiles and other exotic pets! I'm comfortable with all sorts of critters, not just fur-babies! Reptiles, amphibians, fish, insects, and arachnids are all included and well loved in my care.

Sydney is hands down the most reliable, caring, and trustworthy sitter we’ve ever hired. She has looked after our three Chihuahuas multiple times, and every single booking has gone completely seamlessly. One of our pups has special needs and unique daily care requirements, and Sydney consistently goes above and beyond to make sure he is safe, comfortable, and given extra attention. She truly loves animals and treats them with the utmost kindness and respect. Knowing we can fully count on her responsibility and commitment gives us total peace of mind whenever we're away. If you want a sitter who is reliable, compassionate, and will treat your pets like her own, Sydney is the absolute best!

Sydney has cared for my dogs many times over the last several years while I’ve been away on vacation, and I have always felt completely comfortable knowing they were in her care. She is dependable, responsible, responsive, and genuinely cares for all animals. It gave me such peace of mind to know that I could trust her to take great care of my dogs while I was away. Sydney is someone I could always count on, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate person to care for their pets.
