I worked at Naperville Animal Hospital for about a year as a kennel technician. I have a labradoodle that just turned 7 who is 90 pounds. I also have 2 cats who are almost a year old.

I always make sure to clean up after my own animals and will make sure to do the same for others. I also make sure to make them feel comfortable even in a new environment.

It was my first time using any services for my newly adopted shelter dog. Sydney came through in a pinch when I really needed a house/dogsitter. She didn't flinch when meeting my high energy, excited reactive Malinois mix. He loved her right away. She followed all of our strange instructions and updated me throughout her stay. I didn't know what to expect, but was very happy with the care she gave Rebel. For newbies, I suggest discussing exactly what you expect in the way of communication. I will tailor my expectations in future bookings and would be happy to use Sydney again.
Sydney took great care of my cats over a 3 day weekend. I appreciated the photos she took and sent me.

Excellent care provided for our two dogs. Very accommodating and kind, would highly recommend her and would be happy to have her dog sit for us again!
Good news was cats are alive. Other than that I was disappointed. One of the cat boxes had not been scooped the entire time we were gone, it was absolutely disgusting and the house smelled. The other box looked somewhat better but still a huge mess. Dirty cat dishes in the sink. She didn't want to hand wash the dishes, so when the cat bowls ran out, she fed the cats in Tupperware from the drying rack I guess? I hope the cats meds were given. The cats themselves are unphased, so at the end of the day that's what matters.
Sydney did a fantastic job watching our pet. She left the place clean and even threw in a load of towels. Will definitely be calling her again!

Schedule
I love going on walks with my dog and taking him to do fun things (dog park, pup cup, etc). I also love playing and taking care of my cats. Am always available to give them the love they deserve.
