Highlights
Pet care experience
Caring, honest, flexible, active
My family has always owned dogs and I adopted my first dog in 2020, Freyja. I have been pet sitting for neighbors since I was young and I continued to do so for friends and acquaintances when I moved away for college. I have walked and cared for dogs with different energy levels and behavioral characteristics. I have been working with my own dog on her nervousness on walks and around busy areas. I’d love to hear more about your pet and their unique needs!

Ratings and reviews
We book Sydney as often as possible and we contact her as soon as possible. She’s in demand, and for good reason!

Sydney is a bright light in our day - we always hope she’ll be available when we need dog-care!

Sydney is very professional, reliable and goes the extra mile to care for your pets! Highly recommend!

Sydney was great! My dog loved her and she was very professional

Thank you so much Sydney! Sabrina had such a great time with you and I loved seeing all of the photo updates so much!

Sydney took the first part of a longer dog care stint when a friend took over the responsibility of Anika. Smoothly transition and both the house and my pup were in great shape after her stay.

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I’m a grad student at UC Davis so I have a flexible schedule where I am sometimes in the office and sometimes remote. This allows me to have some flexibility with booking walks and other pet care services. If you’re looking for cat care, I’m also open to meeting your feline friend!
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard, and I have my own dog who gets along with others but a meeting on neutral ground would be necessary if they were to stay at my house. I can provide care at your house instead and crate your pet (if they are crate trained) when I’m not at the house. I can take them on walks around town or at the Putah Creek Reserve or do drop ins throughout the day. I respect your privacy, your pet, and your home.

A typical day
I know that dogs need mental stimulation and physical activity. I can provide both during drop in care and walks. With my dog, we play games (like hide and seek with a treat) in the house to get her mind stimulated or fetch at the park near my house. I love walking dogs at Putah Creek or near the green belt where there are a lot of new, interesting smells different from the more developed housing areas.
