Making New Friends One🐾At A Time

A bit about myself: I have taken care of dogs of every kind - from puppies to senior dogs, from small Shih Tzus to extra large St. Bernard’s, Leonbergers, and Newfies. I am comfortable looking after dogs of all breeds and all sizes. I am very comfortable and have experience taking care of animals with special needs; whether those needs be related to anxiety, fear of separation when their owner is not home, or medication administration (administration of any medications; including injections, topical medication, vitamins, or daily pills).

Safety, trust & environment

My fiancé and I have two loving Bernese Mountain Dogs; Bentley and Yoda, who are both an inimitable part of our family system. I understand how important your furry friends are to your family. I show each pet the same care and affection that I would my own.

I’ve used Sydney twice now and she has been punctual and so helpful. Would recommend again and can’t wait to have her walk our dog again!

Sydney was amazing to work with! She responded quickly and put our anxiety at ease about leaving our two dogs alone for the first time. My husband and I had to go out of town for a last minute family emergency and needed someone to watch our two dogs. We reached out to Sydney and she responded within a few minutes and could tell I was very nervous about leaving them behind. She offered to come by the house before we left so we could show her around and meet the two boys ahead of time which really calmed my nerves. Sydney sent little “report cards” throughout her stay and we could tell both dogs were having so much fun! We will definitely use Sydney again in the future. 10/10 recommend her for any of your pets needs

Sydney was a great sitter for our animals (a bunny and a cat). We just needed a couple visits while we were out of town for a day and she came and spent about an hour with them each visit. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter that loves animals and wants them to get some affection while they are away.

Schedule

I have worked at a number of humane societies, and have also volunteered at the SPCA. I have also worked with several service and therapy dogs while working in various Emergency Departments across the country. It is truly amazing to see the excitement and healing effects that our animals can have on us and those around us; especially those who are sick and in pain. My schedule is very flexible as I am now working from home; I am more than happy to accommodate whatever hours are needed in order to keep your pets needs met and maintained.

Before taking care of your pet, I think it is important to know if he/she has any special needs, restrictions, or allergies that I should be aware of. Anything else we should know such as hiding socks and shoes, or lockdown the doggy palace if fireworks/ thunder/loud noises are expected? Feel free to let me know what commands work best with your pet so I can be consistent with what you do with them at home.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
