I’m really surprised and disappointed in Sydney. I was clear in how to get in my house, that we have 4 dogs — each needs a separate walk. Provided all supplies and made a 3xweekly recurring booking. The first day she was nearly an hour late. The first week she never showed up for a walk. I understand people get sick, so I asked when she would make it up —as opposed to going through the hassle of contacting Rover for a refund — and she simply did not respond. Today she showed up (hooray!) but only bothered walking one dog. ??? She said she didn’t want to go into my home if I wasn’t there, which was the point of the recurring walks, so my dogs get walked while I’m at work. When I explained this, and tried to call her, she ignored the call, then texted about how hard it was for her to get to my house to walk the pups. I do it think Sydney loves animals. I don’t think she respects others all that much. It’s unfortunate — I went out of my way to be kind & felt taken advantage. Thankfully Rover reimbursed for the times Sydney didn’t do what she agreed. Hoping she improves her work ethic for others.
