Pet care experience

Your dog’s second favorite human!

I don’t just love dogs—I understand them. With a decade of experience in dog training, behavioral rehabilitation, and managing a full-service dog daycare and boarding facility, I’ve cared for dogs of every age, breed, size, and personality. From energetic puppies to senior dogs, anxious pets, and those with special behavioral needs, I know how to create a safe, structured, and loving environment where every dog can feel comfortable.

She gave lots of updates and pictures of my dogs and I had no worries about them being cared for while I was gone. Absolutely will come back to her when I need my dogs watched again!

Sydney was very sweet and accommodating through this process, and she took great care of my dog. I would definitely use her again!

Sydney regularly takes care of our four labs! She’s loving, responsible, and treats each pup like her own! Rocko is an older dog who needs to be coaxed to eat, and he trusts Sydney. All four love Sydney!

Schedule

I'm currently a part of a training team here locally that works with dogs who need basic obedience, work on reactivity, and aggression issues. Not only focusing on the actions of the dog but bridging the gap between parents and their pets to have a more fulfilling life together.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced in shaded yard with plenty of space to explore or play fetch. We also live on 10 acres with a short trail to a food plot if your pup prefers a leashed walk. As well as 4 ft X 5 ft structured kennels for overnight care and a stainless steel tub and dryer to give them the spa day they deserve!

Pets

A typical day

Aside from physical exercise I love to work a dog’s brain through enrichment activities. Whether it be problem solving games, quick training of basic commands or enjoying a homemade treat!

As I have my own dogs it would be great to know ahead of time if your pup is social or has any issues guarding food. Also if they are potty trained or not incase they may need extra potty breaks. And of course if they require special medication or a serious medical history.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
