Hello! I love all types of pets and currently have two dogs of my own. I am a student at Virginia-Maryland college of veterinary medicine trying to earn some extra money by doing what I love, playing with pets. I have experience with all types of pets at varying sizes and personalities. During my undergraduate career, I raised two Seeing Eye Dogs and helped other raisers with training. During this time, I worked at a veterinary hospital, participated in animal specific events like vaccination clinics, and groomed. From healthy puppies and kittens to seniors who need medication, I have seen it all and am prepared to help with whatever your pet needs. I hope I can meet your fur babies and shower them with love while you’re away. I offer additional grooming services, ask about them if your interested.

Sydney is the absolute best pet sitter. My pups love going to her apartment. They get lots of attention and love while they are there. We will continue to schedule with her as long as she is available.

Sydney was amazing. She took very good care of my pups, trimmed their nails and sent updated pictures and text messages. I come to Blacksburg often for the football team(my son) and I will definitely use her services again.
Sydney was wonderful with both my mini schnauzers. She took care of their every need and gave them lots of love. We have rebooked with her for several more dates and will continue to book with her for boarding in her home.

Schedule
As someone who owns two dogs, pet care is a priority in my life. Both of my pups get plenty of one-on-one time as well as long walks and enrichment in the house. During the day, the pups are crated while I am at school, but if my partner is off of work they get to run around and play. As soon as I get home the dogs get taken out and fed. Along with daily care, I take care of all of their grooming and medical needs as well.

Located in the beautiful mountains of Blacksburg Virginia is my house with a large, open fenced in yard. The house also has plenty of space for your furry friend and I can offer them their own room if needed.
Pets
A typical day
I enjoy taking the dogs I watch on hikes and swimming in creeks. I have a long line to make sure the dogs are safe, but also allow them to have room to run. Once everyone is tired and we return home, I like to snuggle up with the pups and watch a movie. As far as cats go, I allow them to choose how they want to spend their time. Want to play in a cardboard box or with a toy not a problem I have plenty of options. Prefer to snuggle up or find their own spot to lay, I can work with that too.
