In a client’s home, I stick closely to their normal schedule, feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions, so pets feel comfortable and secure in their own environment. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel happy, relaxed, and well cared for.

Before pet sitting, it’s important to know their feeding schedule, any allergies or medical needs, behavior around new people or other animals, exercise needs, and any routines or commands they’re used to. It’s also helpful to know if they have anxiety, triggers (like loud noises), or anything specific that helps them feel comfortable.
A typical day
I like to keep pets happy and active by taking dogs on walks, playing fetch or tug-of-war, and spending time outside when possible. I also use toys or treats for mental stimulation and give calm pets attention through petting, brushing, or just sitting with them so they feel comfortable and cared for.
