I’ve cared for pets of all kinds since I was young, including two dogs and my own cat. I’ve pet-sat for neighbors, friends, and family, ensuring they’re fed, walked, and happy. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for two consecutive summers, gaining hands on experience with dogs and cats of all ages. I’m comfortable with young puppies, senior pets, and everything in between, and I treat every animal with love and patience.

I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, and any specific care needs. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and energy level to understand what they need, whether that’s a walk, playtime, or simply companionship and a calm presence. My goal is to create a trusting environment where pets feel relaxed, attended to, and happy.

While I was Shelter Manager at Good Karma Rescue, Sydney would volunteer with her Mother helping to take care the cats.Sydney even fostered kittens who needed extra care and love.She was so dedicated and thorough in her daily duties, we cross trained her to help with dogs. She learned how to safely remove the dogs from the kennel and practice good dog walking techniques. Sydney was definitely an asset to our Organization and I would highly recommend her as an animal caregiver.

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. As a full-time student at FSU with a part-time job, I manage my schedule carefully and have plenty of availability. I don’t have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which gives me large blocks of free time, and even on class days I have breaks that allow me to check in, play with, and care for pets. I also have open weekends, so I’m able to dedicate as much time as needed to ensure pets are well cared for, active, and happy.
