I recently lost my beloved dog, Gunnie, after 15 wonderful years together. Growing up with him and many other animals, caring for pets has always come naturally to me. It’s something I genuinely love. Over the years, I’ve been a trusted pet sitter and dog walker in my neighborhood, watching over more than 50 dogs, and I treat every pet as if they were my own, because I know they’re not just pets, but family. I’m new to the American Fork area and would love to connect with fellow pet parents here. If you’re ever interested in having me care for your pet, I’m always happy to meet beforehand to make sure you and your furry friend feel comfortable. I also love keeping you updated, whether that’s sending frequent photo updates, or hopping on a FaceTime call if you ever want to check in on your pup while you’re away. I’d be honored to care for your pets like they were part of my own family.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I allow animals on couches and on beds (in my own home if preferred). I allow pets to walk around my home I will not crate animals while home and will always follow parents guidelines. I send not only update texts but photos of animals as well! I base all pet care on how you as the owner go day by day with the pet and how you would like me to take care of them.

Sydney was absolutely amazing! She stayed with our pets for a week and made sure to keep us updated with plenty of pictures and videos. Our 2 dogs and cat didn’t hesitate to get comfortable with her right away. We would recommend Sydney to anyone and we will definitely use her again in the future!

Schedule
I go on 5-mile walks every day and love having animals around, so I’m happy to provide any extra activity or training they might need. Just a heads-up: I’m in school Monday through Thursday, so I’ll be gone about 6–8 hours during the day. I’m still happy to house sit if that schedule works for you!

- I’d love to know your pet’s regular routine—what they’re used to and what makes them happiest! Have they ever been aggravated by anything? Are they good on a leash? Do they ever get so excited they tinkle a little? None of these are bad things at all—I just like to be fully prepared to give them the best care possible!
