Safety, trust & environment

I prioritize each pet’s safety and comfort by making sure to help keep your environment calm and secure. I pay close attention to potential hazards, follow any special instructions provided, and maintain routines that help pets feel comfortable and cared for. I respect boundaries, monitor behavior closely, and can adjust my approach to your pet based on their individual needs and energy levels. Most importantly, I want to make sure I create trust between both the pets and their owners.

Information Sydney J. would like to know about your pet

I want to ensure your dog has the best and safest experience. If your dog has any special behaviors, or quirks, or needs extra attention in certain areas (like leash pulling, being shy around other dogs, or any health conditions), please let me know ahead of time. This helps me tailor my time to suit your dog's unique needs and keep them happy and comfortable!

A typical day

A typical day with your pet will be filled with fun, engaging, and personalized activities based on their energy level and preferences. That might look like a walk around the neighborhood, just visiting for a potty break, or playtime your yard or a public park. I make sure each pet gets the attention and stimulation they need. I would personally say I'm a pro at playing fetch or tug-of-war but for pets who love mental stimulation, I am well trained in hide-and-seek with toys or setting up treat puzzles. Every visit is designed to keep your pet happy, cared for, and the least stressed while you are away.

Your Pet’s New Best Friend Awaits!

Pet care experience

I have many years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs. I'm trained in dog CPR and confident in administering medications, especially including creative ways to disguise pills. I’m always mindful of seasonal concerns like the heat index, ensuring dogs stay safe and comfortable during summer walks or outdoor play. What sets me apart is my judgment and communication. I have no issues asking questions, seeking guidance if I need to clarify something, or if I'm just not confident in something. Most importantly, I am not hesitant to reach out if a situation needs extra support. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority, and I believe they deserve compassionate and attentive care, especially while their family is away. I treat every animal as if they were my own.

Sydney is absolutely fantastic! My little pup is very shy around new people but within a day or two, he warmed up to Sydney and felt very comfortable with her. She is super responsive, communicative, and provides great rover cards. I love receiving her updates immediately following her drop ins!

Sydney did a wonderful job taking care of our two pups! She communicated everytime she came over and completed a report card. She spent extra time with our younger puppy to make sure she had her full exercise. We will definitely use her again when we need a sitter!

Very sweet and loving to my dog . I appreciate her helping to keep his training consistent by making my dog sit at corners and getting corrected for pulling

Sydney is a wonderful petsitter/housesitter! She loved on our 2 dogs and 2 cats while we were traveling for a week. I can't say enough positive things about this young lady. She was a clean house guest and most importantly, my pets adored her. I felt very comfortable with her in my home. She even texted updates and pics while we were away. I wish she still lived in the area, as I would hire her every time we traveled.
