Hi, my name is Sydney, though I prefer to go by the name Jay :) I am a newly graduated master’s student (TWU, MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling) awaiting my career to begin in psychotherapy. Currently I work part time as a nanny (Thursdays & Fridays 7am-6pm, Sundays 8am-1PM). Outside of this, these are my only commitments. I have lots of availability to house sit, dog walk and pet sit! In terms of experience, I have 8 years of professional experience dog walking and pet sitting. Many times when I nanny, I am helping take care of pets as well, including various breeds of dogs, bunnies and even exotic animals such as reptiles (frogs, lizards, etc.) I am a true animal lover, and first began caring for other’s pets at the age of 10. As promised in my headline, I truly do believe in going above and beyond for every single animal and family that I work with. I believe that home can only be home with our furry friends to accompany us. Therefore, I will always do my absolute best to provide the best service possible, which to me means including: Great communication, following of instructions, treating your pets with care, and handling every single job I do with a highest sense of responsibility. Sydney was very good with our boy, it was our first time leaving him and we were very nervous but Sydney sent us lots of pictures of him having fun and playing. She house sit for us also and left our home in excellent shape. We will definitely book her again. ?
Sydney is wonderful! Comet and Tyler absolutely loved her watching after them. Sydney kept us informed and sent us pictures. Sydney took them on wonderful walks and even gave them their favorite treats. Sydney also handled out little old guys meds perfectly. I would highly recommend her services and plan on using her again if available next time around.
I’m so glad we decided to have Sydney pet sit for us while out of town for several days. I knew from the way my pups reacted to her when we first met her that she was an animal lover. Sydney was wonderful at keeping us informed at all times on how the pups were doing, she’d send multiple pictures throughout the day accompanying her text messages, communication was flawless. She really did go above and beyond caring after my pups and spending time with them. If you’re reading this review, don’t think twice about contacting Sydney for your pet care needs, she will not disappoint. I will definitely be using her again as a sitter.
Sydney is a very responsible and caring individual. She goes above and beyond in all that she does. She adores animals, and I have only ever seen her take the best care of them. She is the kind of person you can trust with your pets, because you know that she'll treat them as her own family.
