I volunteer at my local Humane Society where I spend time walking dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels. This experience has taught me how to read different temperaments, provide safe and structured exercise, and make each dog feel comfortable and cared for. Whether they are playful puppies, nervous rescues, or calm senior dogs, I enjoy helping them feel happy and secure!

Ratings and reviews
Sydney is great with our dog, Cleo! This was our first time having overnight care for Cleo since we moved here. Cleo is a little anxious around new people, so Sydney went the extra mile to visit and greet Cleo twice before the overnight stay. Sydney sent pictures of Cleo and checked in each day that we were away, and left our home spotless, probably cleaner than when we left! Cleo was well cared for during our trip and we’d love to have Sydney back again for future stays and check-ins
I don’t like writing negative reviews but I was unfortunately disappointed in the level of care my dog received under Sydney’s watch. She was with him for most of the first day from what I could tell, but nearly every time I checked on his crate camera over the course of the second and third day, he was locked in there as if he were home alone. Prior to booking I asked her if she was okay being home with him most of the time and she assured me that she would be. From what I can tell, that wasn’t the case. Throughout the weekend I was away, I tried asking her direct questions on how he was doing, how his days were going, what he was getting up to, etc. but she wouldn’t provide detailed updates, just a photo and a couple of words. Additionally, my dog was home alone for hours before I got home which is not at all what we had agreed upon (original booking time was supposed to end at 6pm but I let her know my plane was landing at 1pm and said she could leave around then). When I found out she had left early I asked if she could please walk him again before I got home because my foot is fractured and she basically said “no he’ll be fine!” I had to pay a different dog walker to come walk him when I got home, and on their walk, he had to pee so badly. She said he pooped nearly 10 times which tells me he REALLY had to go. It is very unlike him to go that frequently in one 30 minute walk. He was also straining to pee. This makes me think he wasn’t being let out enough or for enough time to get everything out of his system over the course of her stay. I tried asking Sydney when he was out last before I got home and for how long but she couldn’t give me a clear answer. It makes me sad to think about how my baby was looked after and I will not be booking with Sydney again
Sydney has been our go to sitter for several trips now, and we couldn’t be happier with her! She does an excellent job taking care of our two pups and always gives us peace of mind while we’re away. We highly recommend Sydney to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter!

Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine. I am currently a graduate student, which gives me a flexible schedule to work around my clients’ needs and their pets’ routines. I prioritize regular feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and quiet time for rest!
