I work full-time, but I work a hybrid schedule. I am home part of the week and the other part I’m in office. My schedule is fairly flexible as long as I don’t have meetings scheduled. My husband also works a hybrid schedule, so if you are boarding your pets with us, it would be very uncommon for them to be alone for more than a few hours.

In my home- I have a fenced in yard, but I will be outside with your pet at all times they are out there. I have two crates that can be used if needed. I will do a controlled and slow introduction of your pets with my pets to make sure they are all comfortable. I keep my pets separate from your pets when we leave for any period of time. In your home- I will be outside with your pet at all times they are out, and I will follow all instructions left for me. ** I require a meet and greet for all new clients to learn about your pets and make sure we are a good fit! Additionally I require all pets boarding in my home to be current on vaccinations.

A typical day
I aim to stick to your pet's current routine as much as possible, so some of their day depends on that! However, I love spending time in the backyard with your dog(s) and my dogs so they can play, or we can throw some toys to burn off energy. We try to keep it fairly calm when we are inside the house. I also love giving pups a little enrichment through lick mats and snuffle mats.

Pet care experience
I have personal and professional experience taking care of animals. I have had family pets all of my life; I have been a paid sitter for family, friends and coworkers; and I have been a dog/cat foster for KCPP since 2020. I currently have 2 dogs and 1 cat who are playful and friendly to the pets who join us!

Pepper always has a ball at Sydney’s house! She loves her dogs and Sydney takes great care of Pepper and treats her like one of her own. Pepper even gets excited when we turn onto Sydney’s street. Pepper is always well adjusted and happy when I pick her up. I never worry about one single thing when pepper is with Sydney.
