I work a fully remote job! My main tasks consist of random phone calls and emails (so wifi is definitely needed), but isn't consuming, so I have tons of down time, which means tons of one on one attention with your pup! In regard to housesitting, my goal is to be around most of the time, however I do have to step out from time to time for the occasional work meeting or errands. Since my job is so flexible, it allows me to maximize time spent with your dog, which means more playtime, more pets, and more attention!

A typical day
Whether it’s just giving them a ton of cuddles and pets or playing fetch and running around, I really like to bond with them in the ways they enjoy! For the dogs who love to run, I love going on jogs so they can really get their energy out! And for the sleepier pets, we can just couch potato it out cuddling. Sometimes I’ve even taught a couple of new tricks!

Animals have always been a huge part of my life! Since I was a little, I’ve cared for family and friends’ pets — from silly cocker spaniels and lazy basset hounds, to big berneses and slobbery blood hounds — and I’ve always loved getting to know each pet’s unique personality. So much so, that seven years ago (in my senior year of college), I brought home my own boxer/pittie mix, Lucy. She’s been my best friend and constant companion, and I’m so blessed to have her. Pets become part of our families, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with them! Because I work remotely, I’m able to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and I am a big believer in being patient, attentive, and communicative. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, happy, and loved while giving you peace of mind with regular updates and photos!

Finding someone you trust with your home and pets is never easy, especially when it’s a last-minute booking, so I was honestly a little nervous. I’m so glad I found Sydney. Sydney was punctual, communicative, and kept me updated throughout the entire stay. I really appreciated that Sydney wasn’t afraid to ask questions when she needed clarification, whether it was something simple like how to use the TV or letting me know right away when she noticed the dogs were having allergy symptoms again. That level of communication from Sydney gave me a lot of confidence that they were being well cared for. Sydney went above and beyond what I expected from a sitter and left me completely at ease to enjoy and focus on my time away from home. More than anything, I completely trusted Sydney, which is invaluable when you’re away from home. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Sydney, and I would absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend!
Sydney is awesome. Keeps me updated and sends pics of my sweet boy. Good communication and felt that gunner was in good hands. Will be booking again!
Sydney was the best at keeping us updated on drop ins and snuggling our pup while we were gone! It was our first time to leave our pup home alone for 5 days and she made him feel so safe and loved! We will definitely be booking her again when the time allows!
Sydney was available last minute for Gunner and sent great photos and gave a detailed summery of their visit. I really appreciate that and sounds like Gunner had a great time with her.
