My love for all creatures runs deep...there’s a reason my nickname growing up was “Cat Lady.” Growing up in Ohio, my mother managed a dog daycare that was connected to a vet hospital, and I spent years working there. I also handled many of the cat care duties in the hospital, feeding, administering oral meds, and giving gentle attention to the cats boarding there. Once in Chicago, I worked 5 years at a dog daycare, Unleashed In Evanston, under the ownership of an amazing woman with a Ph.D in animal behavior. I focus my services on Rover for cat sitting drop-ins only! I look forward to bringing my knowledge and experience to your pets, to make sure that they can trust me and have a great experience! MEET AND GREETS: If your booking has 5 or less visits, and you'd like an in-person meet and greet/key exchange, a $10 meet and greet fee will be added to the booking, in the Rover system, to schedule that time. If your booking has 6 or more visits, or you are a repeat client and only need me to come by to pick up a key, this fee will not apply. I offer other options for new cat clients to complete a key exchange and meeting, without a fee. Clients are welcome to utilize a lockbox, and provide me with the code, as well as entry and care instructions. I am also available for digital meet and greets over Zoom or FaceTime, for any length of booking, at no fee to the client! Returning clients: I tend to open my availability 1-3 months at a time. That being said, if you are planning on needing care at a date that I have not opened for availability yet, please feel free to message me. If I am certain I can accommodate, even before I’ve opened my service calendar for those dates, I’m happy to schedule you in. If I’m unsure of those dates, I’ll communicate this and keep you in the loop as soon as I know! I know when I leave my pets, I want someone to keep them company, and give cuddles and care as needed…I’ll do my best to treat your pets, and your home, like they’re my own!
