You found your Cat Lady!
My love for all creatures runs deep...there’s a reason my nickname growing up was “Cat Lady.” Growing up in Ohio, my mother managed a dog daycare that was connected to a vet hospital, and I spent years working there. I also handled many of the cat care duties in the hospital, feeding, administering oral meds, and giving gentle attention to the cats boarding there. Once in Chicago, I worked 5 years at a dog daycare, Unleashed In Evanston, under the ownership of an amazing woman with a Ph.D in animal behavior. I focus my services on Rover for cat sitting drop-ins only! I look forward to bringing my knowledge and experience to your pets, to make sure that they can trust me and have a great experience! MEET AND GREETS: If your booking has 5 or less visits, and you'd like an in-person meet and greet/key exchange, a $10 meet and greet fee will be added to the booking, in the Rover system, to schedule that time. If your booking has 6 or more visits, or you are a repeat client and only need me to come by to pick up a key, this fee will not apply. I offer other options for new cat clients to complete a key exchange and meeting, without a fee. Clients are welcome to utilize a lockbox, and provide me with the code, as well as entry and care instructions. I am also available for digital meet and greets over Zoom or FaceTime, for any length of booking, at no fee to the client! Returning clients: I tend to open my availability 1-3 months at a time. That being said, if you are planning on needing care at a date that I have not opened for availability yet, please feel free to message me. If I am certain I can accommodate, even before I’ve opened my service calendar for those dates, I’m happy to schedule you in. If I’m unsure of those dates, I’ll communicate this and keep you in the loop as soon as I know! I know when I leave my pets, I want someone to keep them company, and give cuddles and care as needed…I’ll do my best to treat your pets, and your home, like they’re my own!

I am known amongst my clients for excellent report cards, photos, and videos during the booking. You will always be updated on how our visit went, so you can know if your cats behavior is changing any when you’re away!

Sydney is my go-to cat sitter for vacations. She's watched my two kitties several times now for trips from a couple of days to longer than a week. Her communication is always fantastic, which is especially impressive the couple of times I've been out of the country and several time zones away. The most recent trip involved severe thunderstorms. Sydney proactively told all her clients how the weather would change visit timing, and I especially appreciated her diligence in confirming the automatic feeder still had power after the storm. Highly recommended sitter.

Schedule
My service hours generally fall between 10am-4pm, but occasionally will wiggle as early as 9am or as late as 5pm. During holiday bookings (Thanksgiving, etc) these hours may expand as early as 830am and as late at 7pm. I will do my best to honor visits close to your requested time, but cannot promise exact-timed visits due to the nature of scheduling. As a freelance actor and makeup artist, my schedule may occasionally call for visits outside of my service hours, but I will do my best to keep your kitty on a schedule, within 2 hours of the previous days visit!
