As an experienced pet owner myself, I know that it takes someone special and trustworthy to take care of our fur babies. I have experience with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, you name it! And I know that leaving our pets is stressful, for humans AND pets! My entire goal is to make whatever you need a sitter for be the least stressful situation. With experience of over 7 years, I’m someone that when you leave for vacation, you can have the comfort of knowing that I will take care of your beloved pets with kindness, gentleness, and attentiveness. I have experience with giving medications, taking on walks, and following set schedules. As a full-time social worker/therapist, I have the warmth and compassion that families and pets need to feel comfortable. I also understand that everyone is in different places in life, which is what guides my flexibility with rates. I’m always willing to negotiate and make something work. I do this for fun more than anything, and I think everyone deserves quality pet care!

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, I care for my pet by taking them to scheduled vet check ups, give flea prevention medications and any other current medications, and ensure that their potty space is clean and healthy, so they can be clean and healthy too! I also follow all instruction that I am left with to ensure that pets are safe and cared for under my watch. I always double check and ask questions to be extra careful if I have any. I’d rather ask than mess up, and that’s the best philosophy in my eyes!

Sydney is a spectacular dog sitter. She has watched our very old golden retrievers for us numerous times and it is so wonderful being able to go out of town without worrying about our precious fur babies. She keeps us informed, is very attentive, and leaves our home looking exactly like it looked when we left it. She follows care instructions very carefully and ensures our dogs are well loved. We highly recommend Sydney! She is amazing!
Sydney has watched our three large dogs, a german shepherd and two golden retrievers several times over the past two years. The dogs are always very happy to see her and warm up to her like family. She does a great job making sure they take their medication, they are feed, and have freshwater and along with plenty of outside time. She spends time with them and has earned their trust. Sydney is reliable, shows up on time and has even had to extend her stay for us when we had canceled flights. I highly recommend Sydney for your pets and for your peace of mind.
We feel so lucky to have found Sydney to care for our two pups, Sadie and Lucy! She is truly the most thoughtful, reliable, and loving dog sitter we could ask for. Sydney goes above and beyond to make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. She communicates with us often and always sends the sweetest updates and photos, which gives us such peace of mind while we’re away. Sadie and Lucy absolutely adore her and it’s clear how much Sydney genuinely loves animals. We can’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and wonderful to care for their furry family members.

Schedule
I am a full time social worker, so pet sitting for me is more for me to have time with animals and form connections with them AND owners outside of what can be a pretty stressful job at times. I work M-F at my job, but I work in a school, so breaks are prime time for me to sit, as I’m not working regular hours and holidays are major travel times. Outside of breaks, I’m available for anything, such as house sitting, quick check ins for a feed, or a walk here and there! I make many things work!
