Pet care experience
Your Dog’s Second Favorite Human 💗
I’ve been around dogs my entire life and truly can’t imagine a home without them. I grew up in a family that loves big dogs — we have four Boxers — and I’ve also owned a Goldendoodle and a Pitbull, so I’m comfortable with different breeds, sizes, and personalities. Over the years, I’ve helped foster dogs and even bottle-fed puppies, so I’m experienced with young pups who need extra patience and care. I understand how important routine, attention, and affection are for dogs to feel safe and happy. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers belly rubs and couch cuddles, I’ll make sure they’re well cared for, loved, and treated like part of the family while they’re with me.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because caring for others is already a big part of my life. I have three young children, so our home is active, structured, and full of love. While I don’t have the time to commit to getting a puppy of our own right now, caring for other people’s dogs is the perfect way for me to keep my love for dogs alive. My children are in school during the day, so I have tons of freedom throughout the week and always make time on the weekends!

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. I maintain a clean, structured, and supervised environment at all times. Dogs have a safe space to rest, plenty of playtime, and consistent potty breaks and walks. I can crate them if needed and I follow feeding schedules exactly as instructed and stick closely to each dog’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. In a client’s home, I respect your space and your pet’s established routine. I make sure doors and gates are always secured, leashes are properly fitted before walks, and pets are never left in unsafe situations. I provide updates and photos so you feel confident and at ease while you’re away. Whether energetic or laid-back, your pet will receive attentive care, structure, affection, and a safe environment at all times.
A typical day
Mornings usually start with a potty break and a walk to burn off some energy. After that, it’s breakfast time followed by some relaxed time to digest. Throughout the day, I incorporate tons of play sessions, whether that’s fetch in the yard, tug of war, puzzle toys for mental stimulation, or practicing basic commands for positive reinforcement. I ensure to include plenty of outside time built into our day, which means extra opportunities for supervised walks and fresh air. I’m always mindful of a dog’s energy level. High-energy pups get more active play, while older or more laid-back dogs get gentle strolls and lots of cozy cuddle time. In the evenings, we wind down with another walk or potty break, dinner (if applicable), and calm snuggles before bedtime. My goal is for every pet to feel exercised, engaged, safe, and loved… like they’re on their own little vacation while you’re away.
