I am currently a college student so currently i dont have any pet responsibilities. But, i've grown up surrounded by dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, which has given me a deep understanding and love for working with them. Over the years, I’ve gained experience caring for dogs with a wide range of needs, from energetic puppies to slow-moving seniors, and even dogs with disabilities who need a little extra patience and care.

This includes their personality and temperament (such as if they’re shy, social, or reactive), any medical needs like allergies or medications, and their feeding and potty routines. I also like to know about any triggers or fears, how they behave on walks, what commands they know, and any ongoing training or house rules. Lastly, having your vet’s information and emergency contacts on hand helps me be fully prepared for anything. The more I know, the better I can tailor my care to your pet’s unique needs!
A typical day
I love keeping pets happy, active, and engaged! Depending on their energy level and personality, I’ll take them on walks tailored to their pace, play games like fetch or tug-of-war, and give them plenty of cuddle time and attention. For dogs that enjoy mental stimulation, I can introduce basic training exercises. If your pet prefers a more relaxed day, I’m happy to provide calm companionship, belly rubs, and a lots of pets. My goal is to make sure every pet feels loved, entertained, and completely at ease while you're away.

Pet care experience
I am a dedicated weekend volunteer at a dog shelter, where I work hands-on with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. My experience includes basic obedience training, socialization, and leash handling, as well as administering various types of medications. I’ve worked with a wide range of dogs, from small breeds to a 180-pound Great Dane and a 100-pound Cane Corso puppy. I’ve also provided care for dogs with special needs, including one with only three legs. In addition to my volunteer work, I have two small dogs of my own, which has further strengthened my understanding of canine behavior and care. I am passionate about animal welfare and committed to providing every dog with the attention, patience, and care they deserve.

Sydney has an incredible way with all animals, particularly dogs. All animals love her. She makes even timid dogs very comfortable and relaxed. She has pet-sat dogs, birds and chameleons for overnights or up to a full week. She has volunteered at animal shelters for several years having countless hours of dog walking experience with all breeds, ages and sizes. I've had her watch our two dogs on many occasions when we are out of town. Your pets are in great hands with Sydney.
