Loving Care While You're Away ⭐️

Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy caring for them. I currently care for my senior cat, so I understand the extra patience, attention, and routine that older pets often need. I also play polo and grew up on a farm, giving me years of hands on experience caring for all types of animals and recognizing the importance of consistency, safety, and detail. I have experience caring for dogs (my family has dogs at my parents' home), birds, and freshwater fish. At home, I maintain a planted aquarium with bettas, shrimp, and snails, so I'm comfortable caring for aquatic pets as well. Whether your pet needs playtime, exercise, medication reminders, or simply a calm and reliable companion while you're away, I'll treat them with the same care and attention I give my own animals. I know every pet has a unique personality and routine, and I'm committed to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved until you return.

I’ve known you for many years and she has a genuine care and love for animals. She is quick to adapt to what an animal needs and is also patient when sometimes it’s hard to be. Sydney is genuine and takes time to listen to what the owner needs so that both pet, owner and she have a win-win outcome.

Schedule

Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, giving me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive care. I'm available seven days a week for walks, drop in visits, overnight stays, or extended care. Whether your pet needs a consistent routine, midday check-ins, or extra attention while you're away, I'm happy to accommodate your schedule and make sure they receive the care, exercise, and companionship they deserve.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I understand that every animal has different needs, so I take the time to learn their schedule, feeding routine, medications (if needed), favorite activities, and any special instructions before you leave. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both your home and your pets with the same respect and attention I would my own. I'll make sure your pets receive plenty of love, exercise, playtime, and companionship while keeping their routine as consistent as possible to minimize stress. I'll also keep your home tidy, bring in mail or packages if requested, water plants, and make sure everything is secure while you're away. Communication is important to me, so I'll provide regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pets are happy, safe, and well cared for.

Pets

A typical day

Every pet is different, so I like to tailor the day to their personality and routine. We'll start with potty breaks, fresh food and water, and plenty of affection. Throughout the day, I love taking dogs on walks, playing fetch or tug, exploring the neighborhood, or simply spending quality time together. For cats, I enjoy interactive play, brushing (if they like it!), and making sure they have plenty of attention while still respecting their space. I'll also keep up with any medications, feeding schedules, or special instructions and send photo updates so you can see how much fun your pet is having while you're away.

Before a booking, I like to learn about your pet's daily routine, feeding schedule, energy level, favorite activities, and any medical needs or medications. It's also helpful to know how they interact with other people and animals, any fears or anxieties they may have, and any house rules you'd like me to follow. The more I know ahead of time, the easier it is to make your pet feel comfortable, safe, and at home while you're away.
