Safety, trust & environment
If you have an animal with medical-related issues or have anxiety about having care on hand or your animal getting sick while you are away, I am someone you can trust. I worked at a Veterinary ER, Urgent Care, and General practice since I was 16 and know what to look for.
Information Sydney B. would like to know about your pet
Any medications or allergies, personality quirks that I should keep in mind, anything that could make the dog more insecure around me, and their favorite treat so I can make a good first impression.
A typical day
I am the king of tug of war and believe in letting the dog win so that it builds confidence. I do the same with cats when using a cat toy. I am big on hiking and more challenging walks for dogs that are higher energy and need the extra exercise. I take great consideration for the mental health of animals when having play time.

Sydney is an awesome young lady so caring and treated my dogs like her own!!! They SO loved her coming by everyday while I worked for a potty break and a walk outside!!!! Hire her to help you out, you will be thankful that you reached out to her!!!! She is a one of a kind caring gal!!!!
As the father of a 20-year-old daughter applying to be a Rover dog sitter, I can say with complete confidence that your pet will be in excellent hands with Sydney. She has been deeply passionate about animals from a very young age. She began working with horses at just 5 years old and has spent years developing a calm, confident, and capable approach to animal care. Her love for animals has only grown over the years, and she’s worked diligently to turn that passion into a career. At 16, she began working as a veterinary assistant at a local clinic—a role she’s held for the past four years. In that time, she has gained valuable hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and other animals, learning how to handle a wide range of personalities and medical needs with care and professionalism. Currently, she is a rising Junior at the University of Missouri, majoring in Animal Science. She has earned consistent placement on the Dean’s List and was recently selected as a Vet Research Scholar—an honor that reflects both her academic excellence and her commitment to animal health and welfare. She is one of the most responsible, compassionate, and hard-working people I know. Whether she’s caring for a client’s dog or assisting in a veterinary procedure, she gives her full attention and treats every animal as if it were her own. I fully support her decision to become a Rover sitter and know she will be an incredible resource for pet parents seeking someone trustworthy and experienced.
