Pet care experience

AnimalLover with 8 years experience

What sets me apart from other pet sitters is my eight years of hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals—not just dogs and cats, but also birds, chickens, and horses. I bring a calm, confident presence that helps animals feel at ease, even those with special needs or unique temperaments. I understand that every pet is different and take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and personalities. My background in animal care goes beyond the basics, and I treat each pet like my own—with patience, respect, and genuine love. Whether it’s a cuddle session, a long walk, or specialized care, I’m here to provide reliable, attentive service you can count on.

Sydney was wonderful. She took great care of our 2 dogs. She sent us pictures and updates often. Made leaving them easier knowing she was there to care for them. Would definitely use her again in the future.

Sydney was great! Very friendly and willing to do all the tiny things our little guys needed! She sent us pictures and kept us updated on how they were doing as this was their first time with a sitter. We would highly recommend her for anyone and hope to use her services again. I'd rate higher if I could.

Sydney is a lover of ALL animals. She has had animals around her pretty much most of her life. Right now we have 2 dogs and 3 cats. At 1 point we had 4 dogs, 3 cats and 1 hamster. Sydney works at a vet being a kennel attendant and also helps the doctors when need be. Sydney also takes care of our neighbors animals when they go out of town, those animals consist of horses, goats, chickens, dogs and cats. Sydney also used to volunteer at a horse rescue. If it was up to Sydney we would live on a huge farm and have any and all the animals.

Sydney is an absolutely incredible pet sitter. Her lifelong love for animals shines through in everything she does. She’s cared for pets of all kinds like dogs, cats, even farm animals with patience, warmth, and genuine joy. Animals are naturally drawn to her calm, kind energy. She’s responsible, attentive, and treats every pet like family. Whether it’s a routine check-in or special care needs, I always have total peace of mind knowing they’re in Sydney’s hands. Her experience, passion, and deep connection with animals make her one of a kind. I couldn’t recommend her more!

Schedule

Pet care is part of my daily routine, both at work and at home. I’m a kennel attendant at a veterinary clinic, so caring for animals is literally what I do every day. Before and after work, I’m already on a routine with my own two Aussies and three cats — feeding, walking, and playtime are built right in. That means I’m used to early mornings, late evenings, and structured schedules, and I’m happy to work around what’s best for your pets.

Before I begin pet sitting, I always like to get a full picture of your pet’s routine and personality to ensure I can provide the best care possible. It’s important for me to know their feeding schedule, any medications or health concerns, and how they typically behave around new people or animals. I also ask about their favorite toys, activities, and comfort items, as well as any fears or triggers (like loud noises or certain situations). Understanding their daily routine, potty habits, and preferred style of affection—if any—helps me keep things consistent and stress-free for them while you’re away.
