Pet care experience
My name is Sydney and I love pets!
I have taken care of pets since I was in elementary school. I found a newborn puppy in my backyard and in 2019 and raised him (in my profile pic). He turned five years old earlier this year, but we recently unexpectedly had to put him to sleep due to unrecoverable injuries. My heart is absolutely broken, so I did shut down my Rover account for a little while. I’m back now and ready to start giving love to more pets! If you’re interested in boarding, I do offer that however I want to clarify that I live with 2 other people (my father & brother) and we do have a small yard. There is also a park right down the street where I can do 3-4 walks a day for them.

Sydney cared for our 3 pups over a week and we came home to some very happy doggies. She sent pictures every day and obviously gave them lots of love.
Sydney took such amazing care of our two fur babies, Coco & Toro (both bully/shepherd mixes), while we went away for the weekend. She is so sweet & friendly, sending photos daily to keep us updated. I highly recommend Sydney if you ever need a friend for your fur babies while you're away on holiday!
Sydney was wonderful with my dog Joy! We felt so comfortable knowing she was taking good care of her. When a few issues came up with my dog’s behavior, Sydney was very communicative and collaborative with problem solving. Very responsive and attentive. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I’m currently a student in college, so working with pets fits in perfectly with my schedule! Since I’m taking online classes, I have more time to be able to care for animals.

I am great at following directions, so I will make sure all needs are met for the animals. I love spending time with pets, it’s genuinely one of my favorite things to do!
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks and playing with them. Letting them get their energy out and playing with them is super important and super fun!
