My father is a veterinarian himself so not only did I grow up around pets a lot, I’ve had the luxury to help foster them back to care for adoption! I’ve yet to meet an animal that hasn’t loved me. Fur, scales, or hair, they all love me!

I live in a townhome! I have a 7 year old boxer named Xaria who is extremely timid and reserved. She’s very sweet and will take any pets/kisses you have to offer. I live with my boyfriend and 2 year old daughter. But don’t worry, she too has grown up around animals and I’ve made sure she knows how to behave with dogs.

Sydney took very good care of Shane. Took him for walks and put eye drops in his eyes.
I appreciate Sydney for taking on the task of watching my baby, despite her medical needs, while I was out of town for work. Personally, drop off was too chaotic and there was no communication because she was asleep when we agreed for 6AM - 7AM timeframe. I reached out and called one too many times to the number provided by Rover and panicked at the fact I have a scheduled flight and my own things to do before heading out to the airport. I am not the type to show up at people’s doors unannounced, but that’s the only way I managed to get a hold of her to take my dog as it was beyond late to find a new one. When I showed up, I am told her and daughter were sick, which I understand things happen, but I wish I was told before the day of my flight at least so I can rapidly look for a new sitter. In terms of follow ups, previous sitters usually send me pictures or give me the updates themselves without me asking. This time around I had to ask for updates, which is fine, but when I picked my kid up I noticed she hadn’t eaten all her servings. I wish at the time I requested updates, this was a heads up I could have been given and I could have had one of her favorite treats delivered to the home or something I know she won’t refuse to eat or snack on. I did send my kids favorite snacks and the box was completely untouched, still sealed. I took her freshly cleaned on drop off day, and got her back with harden sticky parts on her coat in some areas. I wish she was a bit more attentive because this is a service being paid for and being trusted with my entire world for a couple of days.
Sydney took great care of Snickers and was super responsive and accommodating.
Winnie had the best time. She loves Sydney. Everything was great.
Sydney was communicative, kind and a great sitter! Would definitely recommend.

Schedule
I’m currently a full time worker but I am a remote worker. Every 4 weeks I go into office but that only means I’m available in just the evening or weekends. Otherwise, I’m free all week.
