My dogs and I go on walks most mornings to get our day started then fetch in the afternoon to keep them active…some days that’s 45 minutes and in the summer that’s 4-5 throws, woo this heat! I am accustomed to the sensitivity of medication time as well as dietary sensitivities and preferences…I have one dog who some days demands to be hand fed!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard yet when walking other peoples dogs I like to have them in their regular leash and a slip leash if the owner likes because safety is first. I also walk with dog spray in the off chance we encounter an aggressive, off leash dog.
Information Sydne K. would like to know about your pet
If your dog has special needs please let me know and my canine crew and I will do our best to accommodate! Around my house the couches are free game yet if your pups aren’t allowed on yours at home I will make sure to not teach them bad habits!
A typical day
Typical day at my house is some good morning tail wags from the dogs. Then we toss on leashes and hit the streets to get in our mornings steps. We’ve got neighborhood friends we see on our walks. After the walk is time for breakfast and meds…gotta keep that arthritis at bay. Then around lunch it’s time for fetch…if the weather and heat allow. If not then we love a good treat stuffed kong for some mental stimulation.

Former vet tech ready to Rover!
Pet care experience
Hey, I’m Syd, a passionate animal lover with over 7 years of experience as a veterinary technician. My life has always revolved around animals, from working hands-on in veterinary clinics to opening my home to countless foster pets in need from neonatal to and infusing hospice care. I currently share my life with my own “zoo crew” — a lively mix of three dogs, a cat, a Sulcata tortoise, a beta fish and probably a foster or two — they make my life lively, hilarious and fun!! With my background in veterinary care, I bring a unique level of expertise and peace of mind to pet sitting. Whether it’s administering medication, managing special diets, or just giving lots of love and attention, I treat every pet like one of my own. I believe every animal deserves compassionate, knowledgeable care when their family is away, and I’m honored to be that trusted person for so many wonderful pets and their families. I can’t wait to meet your furry (or feathered, or scaled!) family members and give them the care they deserve!

Simply the best as always! Bennett loves you 🩵

Sydne was excellent!! She took great care of our pets, and went above and beyond, putting away a cold package that unexpectedly arrived while we were gone. Highly recommend!

Sydne is great!!! Always takes such good care of our kitties and our home. I feel so much better knowing she’s watching them and making sure all is well while we’re away :)

Sydne has taken care of our two dogs several times now - she is fantastic! She even covered for over a week when we went out of the country. 5 stars!
