I am an avid animal lover with 8 years of animal care experience pet sitting, sanctuary caregiving and working at a dog day care center. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, small animals and many farm animals as well. I care for animals with empathy, kindness and respect. I will give your companion every chance to be themselves and do their favorite things. I am responsible and well-organized, so I am capable of sticking to any pre-assigned routine you have set up with your companion. I am vegan and put the lives of non-human animals on the same level as my own. I am very conscious of an animals boundaries and try to do my best to help them comfortable in every situation. I am confident and caring when interacting with animals. My main goals on each visit is to get to know your pet, give the necessary exercise, engage mindfully and give love. I have cared for animals and homes in many different settings so You can trust me with your pets and home!

Caring for an animal I do not know requires calm energy and patience, it is important to me that I follow any rules that are communicated to me. I am comfortable medicating animals, putting on various collars and harness as well as crating.

Syd was attentive, understanding and caring with my Pixie Stick, who has some separation anxiety. Good to know my furbaby was in good hands.

Syd is a true animal lover and we couldn’t be happier with the care she gave our pets. She spent quality time with them and fed them on schedule. She also provided quick and clear communication and regular updates with pictures/videos. She was very dependable. Also, the house was clean and orderly when we got back, she even cleaned out the litter box which we had not asked her to do. We would love to have her pet sit for us again!

Schedule
I have flexible availability for house sits, walks and visits. I currently have a remote office and working on completing an online masters program. I have my own vehicle and live in Kenmore, WA.
