Tara was looked after very well by Syd. I was pleased to get lots of photos, with Tara happy on walks or having cuddles. Syd was very helpful with collection and drop-off, and also took Tara at very short notice when I was unwell. I would happily use Syd again.

I got updates throughout the evening and Vinnie looked happy in his walk, he also seemed to be calm when I picked him up. Syd clearly does have a love of dogs and does give them the attention they need to settle.

Really disappointing experience, especially as this was our first time using Syd. We only booked one night, dropping Pesto off at 5pm and collecting him between 10–11am the following morning. She had lots of good reviews from people who had used her for longer stays, so we felt comfortable trusting her. There were a few red flags from the moment we arrived. Syd actually arrived at the flat just after us in an Uber with a whole load of bags, and we then found out she was in the middle of moving, which hadn’t been mentioned. The flat was understandably in a state, with things everywhere. Her profile also showed a fenced garden, which was one of the reasons we chose her, but this turned out to be a small balcony which wasn’t as the photos. We had also specifically asked about the cat on her profile as Pesto isn’t used to cats. We were told she only did cat sitting separately and would make sure there were no other animals there while Pesto was staying, but there was actually a cat in the other room when we dropped him off. Despite all of this, we decided to trust the good reviews. Syd kept in touch intermittently that evening and eventually told us Pesto had settled and gone to sleep around 11pm. The next morning I messaged at 9:30am to say we’d be there at 10:30am to collect him. We heard nothing, but set off as planned. When we arrived, there was still no response to messages or multiple phone calls, which went straight to voicemail. We spent almost an hour alternating between calling, messaging, knocking/banging on her door and speaking to neighbours to try to work out if she was actually there. It was incredibly stressful, as we had no idea where she was or whether Pesto was okay. We would have expected Pesto to bark if he had heard us at the door, given it was a one-bedroom flat. Eventually she finally replied and said her phone had died and she’d slept late because Pesto had struggled to settle due to noise from the neighbours downstairs. Had we known he was struggling to settle, we would have happily collected him earlier. She was apologetic when she eventually appeared, but unfortunately the whole experience was absolutely not acceptable and very stressful. We definitely wouldn’t use Syd again and wouldn’t recommend her.

Ozzy had a wonderful time with Syd. Lots of photos of him enjoying himself on walks and chilling. Great arrangements to drop off and pickup too :-)

Syd was excellent in looking after Leshy in a short notice. She provided regular updates and photos and gave Leshy lots of playtime and regular walking. I would recommend Syd and would certainly go back to her.

Syd looked after our hagrid anf spooky whilst we went on holiday for 8 days, she was absolutely amazing and so sweet and kind, kept me updated and sent many photos. My babies had the most amazing time and am forever thankful for her. Thankyou ever so much syd🥹🩷🩷🩷
