Patient trust building 3. Poop aficionado 4. Pull Police (Walk Safety 101) My only goal is improve the quality of life for pups from all walks of life. Every dog deserves more than a walk around the block. Just like us our canine companions require VARIETY, NEWNESS and a VACATION, at least every once in a while. Doggy Day Trips was designed with these needs in mind. We understand that meeting your dog's holistic needs takes holistic work. From vet visits, to food shopping, and everything in between. You already have a team of experts to support your dog's quality of life, and we want to join YOUR pack! We see ourselves as part of your wider circle of care, working in tandem to provide a quality experiences to pups everyday. Our adventures feed their mind and body with benefits that last a lifetime. From couch potatoes to trouble-makers, time in nature is essential for all dogs. Day Trips provide more than just a chance for fresh air. Nature provides a classroom, a playground, a social network and is a necessary source of emotional balance. For all of us, time spent in nature reduces stress, improves cardiovascular health and strengthens immunity, this is even more true for dogs. Have a less energetic or older pup? No worries! Each dog gets to explore at their own pace, prioritizing their temperament and current health to ensure they have the best experience on every adventure. After 12 years of providing traditional pet care, Doggy Day Trips brings industry knowledge and canine first aid training, to the wild (but supervised) outdoors. Connecting dogs directly with the sensory experiences and lessons only nature can bring. Every outing is designed with intention: to build confidence, encourage healthy socialization, and promote mind and body exercise. --------------------------------------- Day Trips: Small-group adventures to Southern Ontario’s most scenic conservation areas. Four-hours of trail time and interactive driving games. Balancing physical activity, mental stimulation, and positive social interaction. Our commitment is to give each dog the opportunity to explore, learn, and grow in a safe, nurturing environment. We know that leaving your companion in someone else’s care is a big decision. We make that choice easier by offering more than a standard walk, providing a pathway directly from your front door to the great outdoors. --------------------------------------- Boarding: A one-on-one experience tailored to your pet(s). Overnight guests join weekday adventures, while weekends include free roaming, individualized attention, and daily outdoor excursions on nearby trails. Boarding is a more unique experience. I provide a solo stay for all overnight guests, giving them my undivided attention and ALL of the TLC. They come along for all weekday adventures, and on the weekend they're free to roam around the entire house and are sure to get at least 2 hours of exercise, visiting the nearby trails and dog parks. If you're unsure about leaving your loved one with somebody new, don't hesitate to reach out with any questions, I'm looking forward to connecting with you.

Syd was great watching my dog for the day. This is the first time I’ve left my dog with someone other than family and friends and she warmed up to Syd! She sent updates throughout the day, which I really appreciated, and even cleaned my dogs dishes afterward. My dog was actually sad once she left — a true sign she had a great time. Highly recommend Syd for anyone needing a reliable and caring dog sitter!

Syd is an absolutely wonderful dog sitter! From the moment we met her, it was clear how much she genuinely cares about animals. She is kind, reliable, and incredibly attentive to details. Wanda was happy, calm, and clearly well cared for while in her care, which gave us complete peace of mind. Syd kept us updated and treated our furry baby as her own. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog sitter. We are so grateful to have found her!
