I'm currently working towards a bachelor's of science degree, so I'll be pretty busy in the morning on weekdays (when in Banner elk, nc). My schedule usually calms down after 12pm, except Teusdays which are very busy. Please feel free to message me about what you're looking for and we can see if things will work out. I will not be able to stay at your house 24/7 due to my schedule. I will also have to go home for school breaks (winter/summer/spring). When I am at home (Newport News, VA), I will be available 24/7. Just message me and I'll let you know if my location has changed or will be changing before the date you need. But I will be doing my best to change my location on here in a timely manner.

I'm a big advocate for playtime. I won't just stand around your house during the scheduled visits and let your dog be bored. We'll play with toys and run around and if you have a fenced in yard you can be sure I'll be out there throwing a tennis ball or playing tug of war with your pup until they're exhausted. I'll make sure our walks leave your dog well excersized and ready to nap for hours after we get home.

Please let me know if your pets requires medication! If they do, I'd appreciate meeting you beforehand so we can go over how you give them their meds so I can make the process as easy and relaxing as possible. I'd also love to know how many times they usually go out on walks/go out to the bathroom and day so I can prepare!
A typical day
I wake up at 8am, feed my cat and then get on with classes for the day. When I get back around 1pm I'll be able to come to your home and wear your pets out with playtime. I may be able to provide breakfast in the early morning, but that will vary based on how long you'll be gone for.

Pet care experience
I have professional experience caring for dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments as a kennel care attendant. I'm also working towards my bachelor's degree in wildlife rehabilitation! I've owned all kinds of pets growing up from dogs and cats to mice, bunnies, birds, fish, and even a snake and a frog. I will treat your pets the same as my own, with respect and complete adoration. I'll even send you pictures of your pets during each visit for when you're missing your babies.

Syd has been an avid pet love their whole life. Ever since they were a little kid all they have ever wanted to do was to take care of animals. It never mattered what kind either. Frogs, snakes, lizzards, chipmunks, dogs, cats, etc...they have experience working with them all. Now they are majoring in wild life rehabilitation at a tremendous school in order to fulfill their lifelong dream of helping as many animals as they can. A type 1 diabetic since 18 months old forced Syd to grow up very quickly and learn about self care and responsibility at a very early age. This has only gotten stronger as they have grown and now that same responsibility encompasses every aspect of their life. Syd is an amazing person and the biggest animal lover you will ever come across. Nobody will make a better caregiver than Syd.
Syd is an amazing pet parent. They’re very kind and caring to their own pets, as well as the pets of others. Syd has such a big heart, and working in a field alongside wildlife makes it even better.
