Safety, trust & environment

Please note: Due to our homeowner's insurance policy restrictions, we cannot host Pit Bulls (this legal definition explicitly encompasses Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, and American Pit Bull Terriers) Rottweilers, or Akita breeds. For everyone's safety and comfort, we are only able to host dogs who are fully comfortable around kids and cats. For boarding clients: Your pup will be staying in our home with a fully fenced backyard that is large enough for them to run around freely. Let me know of any walk preferences (no walks at all/as many walks as possible, on leash always/can run freely in a field, etc) Important to know: we have a toddler and two cats, all of whom have been raised around animals and are very gentle. If your dog is uncomfortable around young children or cats, another boarding home may be a better fit for everyone's safety and comfort. Our promise is to provide a comfortable, safe and fun environment with daily updates on your pet’s well being.

Information Svetlana P. would like to know about your pet

I like to know as much as possible about each pet before we start so I can make them feel completely comfortable and cared for. Please share any details about their daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite toys, and comfort items. It’s also really helpful to know about medical needs, allergies, or medications, as well as how they usually behave around new people, other animals, or children. For dogs, I like to know their walking preferences, leash habits, and any triggers or fears (like loud noises or other dogs). For cats, I would like to know about shyness, hiding spots, or handling preferences. The more I know about their personalities (what makes them happy, relaxed, or uneasy) the better I can make their time with me feel safe, calm, and fun.

A typical day

Every pet is different, but I make sure they all get a mix of fun, comfort, and calm. Whether it's cuddles, gentle companionship, walks, or playtime, I tailor my care to what makes each pet happiest. My goal is to help them feel safe, loved, and at ease while their people are away.

Svetlana was great! She was patient with my shy at first cat, sent update pictures every visit, and gave me updates on her eating and litter box habbits.

Svetlana took care of my very shy cat. She did an amazing job communicating and giving updates on my cat daily. I was very happy with her and would use her again if I were to leave. She follows all the directions and if she had any questions she was sure to ask. My cat has asthma so she takes daily medication and Svetlana was able to give it to her.
