I am a stay at home dad so my time will always be devoted to all dogs in my care. We go for play time at the local off-leash dog park in the mornings, and at nights we go for long walks around our quiet neighborhood.

We live in a townhome and do have a fenced in back yard for potty breaks. We play indoors but we take our dogs to the park in the morning, play indoors or relax until dinner (unless the weather permits for more off-leash play), then after dinner we go for a long (3km) walk at night just before bed.

A typical day
My typical day starts with waking up and letting the dogs out for morning washroom breaks and feeding them. After that we all get into our car and were off to the dog park for as long as they want to stay (usually 30-90 min). I then drive back home and see if the dogs are exhausted enough for nap time, which if requested can be crated. They are usually content until dinner time (4pm). If not I take them either for a walk or take them to a soccer field for play time on a 100 ft long line. After dinner we gather everyone up and go for a min. 3 km walk around our neighborhood. We play in the house for the rest of the day or just relax until bed time.

Very capable dog trainers
Pet care experience
Both my wife and I have taken care of animals since we were 9 years old. From Cats and Dogs all the way through to Birds, Fish, Rabbits, Reptiles, Guinea Pigs, and Hamsters. We purchased our first Brittany dog in 2008 and a year later we became dog trainers able to deal with sensetive dogs and behavioral issues. So rest assured that when you leave your dog with us they are in very capable dog loving hands.
Reviews

Great meet and greet. They were kind and patient with Lucy. Their dog Charlie is so calm with her too. Really good experience!

I booked with Sven to look after my dogs while my brother and I attended a memorial service for our sister, who had passed away two weeks prior and whose family lives a six-hour drive from our city. Prior to booking I had read Sven’s background and reviews on Rover.com, which was very helpful in the decision to book with him. My brother and I are grateful for his skills and knowledge as a dog trainer and his welcoming manner with us as clients. I especially appreciate his kindness toward us during the unfortunate circumstances that brought us to his region. His skills really showed in how he introduced our dogs to his during the drop-off time — one of my dogs is nervous when meeting other dogs and Sven and his dog were both excellent in their response to and patience with her as she eventually settled into better behaviour. My dogs were happy and tired when I picked them up later, which is always the clearest sign they have been in high-quality care. My sincere thanks to Sven and to Rover.com for making this experience — my first with Rover.com — such a good one.

Leo loved his stay! Thank you

From start to finish the booking was excellent. Communication was quick and friendly and the meet and greet put everyone at ease. It obvious Lily and Charlie would have fun. Sven sent a lovely update and was flexible with pick up times. Highly recommend
