I’m new here :)
I have grown up around animals my whole life, and as such I think I have a unique set of skills and experiences that make me more than qualified to watch over your animals! I have had horses, goats, alpacas, bunnies, cats, and dogs in backyard my whole life, and I have experience housing sitting all types of dogs, cats, and even the occasional bird. Caring for animals has been apart of my life since before I could even walk and because of this I feel confident in my ability to maneuver any situation involving animals and make sure they stay happy and healthy while in my care.

I have experience with anti social and reactive dogs as well as super friendly and cuddly dogs, and I understand that each dog has their quirks and needs to be taken care of in a specific way. I can promise that I will always put consideration in my care for your animals based on their personality and comfort levels. I also understand completely how hard it can be to entrust someone else to take care of your animals, so expect lots of updates and photos from me to keep you in the loop of all their shenanigans!

Svea watched over my green cheeked conure, Perry, for three months while I was backpacking. He is my little baby and she took such good care of him. With past sitters they have done the very bare minimum with him. But with Svea, he genuinely had so much social time and enrichment. He seemed just as fond of her as he is with me when I returned. Because of Svea’s extensive experience caring for a wide range of animals, I knew that I could trust her to be his guardian while I was away. It alleviated a lot of stress and worry from my shoulders during my travels, and it was nice to see the photos she would send me of the two of them spending time together. Thankyou Svea! I’ll definitely be coming back to you for any future care that Perry needs. :)
I believe Svea would be a great member of your team. She was raised around horses, chickens, cats and dogs. Tending to animals in Alaska require dedication, especially horses as the climate is a challenge in the winter months. She has worked for me at our feed store and also on a personal level with helping my elderly mother with things around her home. If I can provide any more details do not hesitate to ask.

Schedule
I am a student at WWU and have a pretty busy schedule during the week but weekends are always free, and I could open something up during the week if needed, as long as it’s in the afternoon.
