We’re a dedicated dog-loving couple with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. Matthew is retired and home full-time, and Suzette works remotely, so your pup will never be left alone for long and will receive round-the-clock love, supervision, and companionship. Our home is calm, structured, and dog-friendly, with a fully fenced yard that includes turf, shaded areas, and secure spaces perfect for dogs of all energy levels. We only host a small number of dogs at a time, ensuring each guest receives individual attention and a stress-free environment. We also bring valuable experience with both ends of the age spectrum—puppy training and senior care. Suzette has raised and trained puppies from the ground up and is patient and consistent with routine-building, house training, and basic commands. We’re also comfortable administering medications and providing gentle, attentive care for senior dogs who may need a slower pace and extra TLC. Most importantly, we truly love what we do. We treat every dog like family—with structure, playtime, cuddles, and a whole lot of love.

Schedule
Matthew is retired and home full-time, and Suzette works remotely, so one or both of us is always available to give dogs the attention and supervision they need throughout the day. Our daily routine includes morning potty breaks and breakfast, playtime in the yard, enrichment activities, structured rest periods, afternoon walks or outdoor time, and lots of cuddle time in the evening. We keep a calm, consistent environment that helps dogs feel secure and at home. Whether it's sticking to your pup’s feeding and medication schedule, reinforcing training, or simply giving them extra love when they miss home—we’re here for it all, every single day. Because we live this lifestyle full-time, pet care isn’t something we fit in—it’s something we’ve made room for at the heart of our home.

In our home, we care for every guest dog as if they were our own—providing a safe, loving, and structured environment tailored to each pup’s needs. We maintain a calm and dog-friendly space with a large, fully fenced yard featuring turf for play, shady areas for lounging, and secure spaces perfect for dogs of all sizes and energy levels. Dogs have free access to indoor and outdoor spaces under supervision throughout the day. Our routine includes scheduled meals, plenty of potty breaks, playtime, socialization with our two friendly resident dogs, enrichment activities, and quiet rest periods to help your pup feel balanced and at ease. We stick to each dog’s specific schedule as closely as possible, whether that includes special feeding needs, medications, or preferred routines. Because Matthew is retired and Suzette works from home, your dog will have nearly constant supervision and lots of attention. We also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident and connected while you're away. Ultimately, our goal is to make your dog feel completely safe, loved, and at home during their stay with us.

A typical day
At our home, every dog gets plenty of love, attention, and fun! Depending on your pup’s personality and energy level, activities can include: Playtime in our large fenced yard – running, chasing, and playing fetch on our turf or cement/rock areas. Socializing with our friendly dogs – supervised playtime with our 2-year-old and 6-month-old pups. Interactive games – hide-and-seek, tug-of-war, or puzzle toys to keep them engaged. Relaxation and cuddles – shady spots in the yard or cozy indoor time for dogs who prefer a calm environment. Training and enrichment – practicing basic commands or teaching new tricks for mental stimulation. With Matthew home full-time and Suzette working remotely, your dog will have companionship and attention throughout the day. Every dog is treated like family—with love, structure, and plenty of affection!

- To ensure we provide the best care for your pet, it would be great to know a bit about them ahead of time—such as their age, breed, medical needs, feeding schedule, favorite activities, daily routine, and any behaviors or fears we should be aware of. It’s also helpful to know their vaccinations, medications, and how you’d like updates while they’re with us. This way, we can make their stay safe, comfortable, and fun!
