I’m attentive to each dog’s needs and routines, and I’ll make sure they feel settled, cared for and relaxed while they’re with me, whether that’s playtime, walks or just a calm space to rest.

Information Suzanne W. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know about your dog’s routine, temperament and any specific needs so I can make sure they feel completely comfortable. This includes feeding, walking habits, recall and how they are with other dogs or new environments. I’m happy with a range of breeds and personalities, but it really helps to know any quirks in advance, whether that’s boundless energy or a preference for the quieter life.

A typical day

A typical day is a good balance of walks, playtime and downtime, depending on your dog’s energy levels. We’ll head out to local parks for plenty of sniffing, exploring and general dog investigations, with games and interaction throughout the day to keep them mentally stimulated too. At home, there’s a secure garden for fresh air and play, plus time to relax, nap and recharge (snoring very much welcome).

Pet care experience

I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 4, so caring for them has always been second nature. Over the years I’ve looked after everything from King Charles Spaniels, Pugs, Boxers and Dogue de Bordeauxs, so I’m comfortable with all sizes, personalities and quirks. Most recently I had a pug named Dilbo for 16 years, who was completely part of the family. I still miss the little things like his tip tap paws on the floor and his very loud snoring and farting, so I know how much dogs mean to their owners and how important it is to feel they’re in safe hands. Friends, family and neighbours have always relied on me to help with their pets, and my brother also dog sits, so it’s definitely in the family. Since my pug passed, I’ve really missed having a dog around, which is why I genuinely love spending time with others. I have a large secure garden and lots of great parks nearby, so your dog will get plenty of attention, exercise and proper care while they’re with me. I also run a little Instagram called The Barkchives where, I like to document the pooches I meet along the way x

Suzanne is amazing and made me feel so at ease leaving Ollie to attend a wedding. Ollie felt so comfortable and loved exploring her garden. Suzanne provided lots of updates and photos of Ollie to help and i know he had the best time with her and her kids. Can’t be more thankful!

Suzanne was absolutely amazing with Noroc, kept me updated daily and I could tell Noroc had a great time with her and her family! I always worry when away from my boy but I definitely had a stress-free trip knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommended and I'd have no issue asking Suzanne to look after Noroc again.
