In the spring of 2022, I completed my graduate school classes in art therapy and clinical counseling at Southwestern College in NM and am working towards growing my business as an artist. I have the flexibility to pet sit often during this transition. I do not have an "online job". I take my artwork with me when I housesit and work on things that I can do at other people's homes (like sewing). Because of this, I am able to spend most of the time pet sitting at home with the animal.

A typical day
I like to go on long hikes with dogs in beautiful forested places. Ideally, I like to be able to take them off leash and let them run around a lot.

Pet care experience
I grew up with cats and have been taking care of people's dogs for many years. I was often the go to person for dog sitting in my co-housing community where I lived until recently in Santa Fe, NM. I moved back east at the end of 2022. *Please note that I charge $50 for meet and greets. I can add this on to your total booking fee or you can pay some other way. This ensures that people have a serious intention of booking when they ask me to come out and meet them and their animals and it also ensures that I am compensated for the time I spend doing this. Thank you for your understanding!* also: if people are having issues with their animal(s), like so many people are, I want to recommend animal communicator Penelope Smith. She has a whole directory of animal communicators on her website animaltalk dot net.

Suzanne spent two weeks in our home with our dog while we were overseas. It was our first time being away from him for a long period, and Suzanne put him right at ease. She kept in touch frequently and sent photos. We've found her to be a proactive and clear communicator. She was also kind enough to take care of our plants, fetch our mail, and wash our sheets before we got home! Don't hesitate to book with her.
This was our first experience with Rover and first time having aper sitter over at our house. Suzzane was great. The communication from the very first contact was outstanding and continued throughout the service. Got home and dogs and cat were all in great spirits and I could tell they had bonded well with Suzanne. Thank you.
