No kennels here—just a cozy home, a grassy yard, plenty of belly rubs, and lots of love! Hi, I'm Suzanne! I've lived in Scottsdale's Mountainview Ranch neighborhood for over 20 years, and I've loved animals my entire life. My home is a place where dogs can relax, play, get spoiled with affection, and feel like part of the family. I work from home as a mortgage professional and have for over 28 years, which means I'm here throughout the day to give your pup attention, companionship, potty breaks, and playtime. I'm never more than a ball toss away! My home features a peaceful backyard with a long, grassy side yard that's perfect for games of fetch and outdoor fun. I also have a small pool area that's safely blocked off to help keep visiting pups safe. One of the special things about my home is that I don't currently have pets of my own. That means your pup gets my undivided attention, plenty of affection, and lots of opportunities for one-on-one companionship. Whether we're playing with toys, enjoying a neighborhood walk, lounging on the couch, or snuggling up for a nap, I'll do my best to make your dog feel comfortable and at home. I believe every dog deserves to feel safe, loved, and cared for while their family is away. I take the time to get to know each dog's personality, routine, and individual needs so I can make their stay as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. I'm especially suited to dogs who enjoy a loving, relaxed home environment, and I welcome a meet-and-greet before booking so we can make sure my home is the right fit for your pup. When you leave your dog with me, I want you to have peace of mind knowing they're not just being watched—they're being loved. I can't wait to meet you and your four-legged family member!

Suzanne took great care of Lucy for us while we were away. She sent us frequent updates with pictures during Lucy's stay, which we really appreciated!
Suzanne was amazing with my Frenchie, Theo, while I was out camping. Even though I didn’t have great service, she kept sending updates regularly, which was super reassuring to check when I did get signal. You can tell she really cares about the dogs she watches—Theo looked so happy and well taken care of in every photo. I was definitely nervous leaving him at first, but Suzanne made it easy to relax knowing he was in great hands. I’d 100% book with her again. Highly recommend!

Suzanne took great care of my little 4 pound Japanese Chin ensuring that he got lots of cuddles but more importantly was in a safe environment. Would definitely recommend.

Schedule
I work from home as a mortgage professional and have for over 28 years, so I’m here to give your pup plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day! I love having dogs around while I work, and our walks, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddle sessions are the best breaks in my day. Your pup won't be left alone for long stretches while you're away—they'll be part of my daily routine and treated like one of the family.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pup's safety and happiness are my top priorities! My home has a secure backyard with a 15-foot wall, and I use indoor gates to help prevent any adventurous pups from slipping out the door when someone comes or goes. Dogs get plenty of love, attention, playtime, and snuggles throughout the day in a comfortable, home environment—not a kennel. I want every pup in my care to feel safe, relaxed, and right at home while you're away!
A typical day
Every day brings a little playtime, a little adventure, and lots of love! I have a toy box full of toys for the pups to explore and enjoy, and my long, grassy side yard is perfect for a game of fetch or stretching those four legs. We can also take leisurely neighborhood walks to get in their daily dose of sniffing, exploring, and checking out all the neighborhood news! Does your pup have a favorite toy or snuggle buddy? Bring it along! Having something familiar from home can help them feel extra comfortable. Whether your dog loves to play, go for walks, or simply relax and soak up the attention, I'll make sure their day includes plenty of tail wags, fun, and snuggles!

- To help me give your pup the best possible care, I'd love to know a little about their personality and daily routine! 🐾 Do they get along well with other dogs? 🐾 Are they house-trained, and have they ever shown signs of aggression or resource guarding? 🐾 What's their usual feeding schedule, and how much do they eat? 🐾 Do they have any medical needs, medications, allergies, or special instructions? 🐾 What is their energy level like? Are they happiest playing and exploring, or relaxing and snuggling? 🐾 Do they have any history of snapping, biting, guarding food and toys? A note about larger dogs (41–100 lbs): I've recently opened my home to larger dogs, too! My home is best suited for calm, well-mannered adult and senior dogs who enjoy a relaxed home environment. At this time, I’m unable to accommodate high-energy large dogs, strong pullers, or adolescent dogs under 2–3 years old. My goal is to make sure every dog in my care is comfortable, safe, and a good fit for my home. I ask that all new clients schedule a meet-and-greet before booking so we can get acquainted, discuss your pup's needs, and make sure everyone feels comfortable. I want you to feel confident that your four-legged family member is in good hands!
