I’m Suzanne, the primary caregiver, with over 10 years of experience. Our venture serves as an outlet for our deep love for animals, transcending mere business. This is precisely why we only accept one family at a time, ensuring that your pet receives the full attention and love they deserve during their stay. Our Promise: We are dedicated to offering exclusive, one-on-one care for your pets. Your pet will become an integral part of our family during their stay, receiving plenty of love and attention from all of us. Ideal Guests: Glow Away Pet Care exclusively accepts well-mannered pets. We cater to well-behaved companions who do not engage in counter-surfing or destructive behavior. House training is a must, with the understanding that occasional accidents may occur. Aggressive behavior is not tolerated; we prioritize non-aggressive and gentle pets to ensure a peaceful and enjoyable stay for all. Safe and Fun Environment: Our home boasts a securely fenced backyard for playtime and sunshine enjoyment. Safety is our number one priority, with locks on all fence doors. Meet and Greet: We believe in the importance of a meet and greet session to make sure your pet is a perfect match for our family and environment. It’s a great opportunity for you to see our home and fenced area. Getting to Know Each Other: We regretfully cannot book an extended stay (more than 10 days) without first experiencing a short-term stay with your pet. This initial visit is essential to building a strong bond and understanding with your furry companion. It’s our way of ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for your pet. Additional Skills: Our family is equipped to provide services such as oral medication administration, senior dog care, and more. We’ll also maintain your pet’s routine, from feeding to bathroom breaks. Requirements: For your pet’s safety, please provide proof of all vaccinations and ensure they are child friendly. We also ask for flea treatment before arrival. Must schedule a meet and greet before booking. Availability: We are a homeschooling family, meaning we are mostly at home and always ready to provide the best care for your pets. During Hurricane Season: it is important to know before booking - you need to have a back up plan - someone that would watch your dog if a named storm is coming. Or your fur baby would have to come with me in the car but understand I will not be coming back until I have AC and electric at my home. I’ve had too much stress around this topic. So it has to be discussed ahead of time, before booking. We have loved every dog that stays with us like they are own while you are away - we are reliable and think of others before ourselves however sometimes people do not think ahead for us. Please understand hurricane season is unpredictable so let’s plan accordingly.
