I’ve cared for animals my entire life. Growing up, we had everything from dogs and cats to mice and parakeets in the house. Currently I have an almost 10yr old golden retriever, cat, chickens, horse, donkey, pigs, and two young steers. I started caring for animals in a professional capacity over 20 years ago and have taken care of dogs, cats, and horses in multiple different settings. I’ve taken care of special needs animals whether it’s dietary or administering medicine by mouth or needle. I enjoy being outside and love to go for walks. We currently don’t have a fenced in yard, but are out often and will be adding a fence this spring. I have two young boys who love animals, so for anyone looking for boarding, the dog must be child friendly. I’m happy to talk about care for other animals whether of reptile or farm variety. Please note, while I can and often do accommodate last minute requests, I do not accept overnight boarding requests for dogs without a meet and greet or being a previous client.

I felt completely confident that our dog, Anya, was in the best care during our week-long trip. Suzanne and her family were incredibly friendly, and it was clear how much they truly love animals. Communication was easy—she responded quickly, was very accommodating, and made everything stress-free. When we returned, Anya looked wonderful and so relaxed, which tells me she had a great time. Communicating with Suzanne was prompt and easy. Our dog had a meet and greet Saturday, he was very comfortable there. We had a day at the house and all was great. We will be scheduling overnights next.

Suzanne is great! She was fantastic with communication and photos/updates! Jake had a great time with her golden retriever and her little boys! I don't think he even wants to come home LOL I would not hesitate to board any of my dogs with Suzanne for any length of time. She is kind, courteous, and super with animals and humans alike! Schedule
I’m a stay at home mom to my two boys (2&4) so home most of the day and able to do frequent potty breaks and exercise.

My 10yr old golden is very playful and energetic, but also respectful of lower energy dogs that maybe don’t want to engage as much. I have comfy dog beds to hang around on and a large yard to walk around with different farm animals to sniff and meet!
Pets
A typical day
We love to be outside, whether it’s walking our driveway or getting in the car to take a walk on local trails. I’m happy to work on some basic commands for mental stimulation or to keep consistent training while you’re gone.
