How pet care fits into my daily routine: I work weekdays from 7–3, so I’m home afternoons/evenings and fully available on weekends and holidays. I also have school breaks off (spring break, fall break, Christmas break) and additional time off during the summer, which gives me lots of flexibility for extra attention and supervision. In the home, I have strong support: my adult son works from home and is an experienced caregiver, and my other son—who lives here and is a vet tech—also helps. He works a 4/10 schedule, so we have great coverage and availability. We’re very attentive to routines, safety, and comfort, and we’ll love and care for your pet like our own.

A typical day
We’ll do walks, some backyard play in our securely fenced yard, and plenty of downtime in a calm home environment. I’ll follow your dog’s routine and energy level—whether they’re more playful and active or more relaxed and low-key. We keep a close eye on pets inside and out, and I’m happy to stick to your preferences for feeding, potty breaks, and any usual habits. I’ll also send a quick update so you know how things are going.

Pet care experience
Lifelong animal lover & experienced caregiver. I’ve cared for pets my entire life and treat every dog/cat like family. My father was a veterinarian, and my son (who lives with me) is a vet tech—so your pet is in knowledgeable, attentive hands. I also cared for my diabetic pet for 8 years, so I’m comfortable with medications, special routines, and paying close attention to details. Expect lots of love, safety, and great communication.

Suzanne was absolutely fantastic! She gave me updates while I was gone and took my puppy last minute which was such a help to us. She also was very accommodating with modifying our booking to extend the time we needed! I will definitely use again and highly recommend!
Matthew was amazing! He made sure I felt very comfortable by showing me around the house and yard where our dog would be staying. It was our first time using Rover and we will be going to Suzanne and Matthew every time we use it again in the future.
