• If possible, I like to meet the pet with the owner present to build trust. • I allow the pet to approach me at its own pace rather than forcing interaction. • I use positive reinforcement (treats, gentle tone) to create a sense of comfort. • I keep doors, gates, and fences secured to prevent escapes. • I use a well-fitted collar or harness for walks and ensure leashes are in good condition. • I avoid off-leash walking in unfamiliar areas unless specifically instructed by the owner.
