Having no human children of my own I have always gravitated towards animals. I have cared for dogs for over 25 years. I have worked with all different types and temperaments. Dogs with anxiety, dogs with dog aggression and dog friendly, well adjusted dogs. When I take care of your dog I am very thoughtful to their specific needs and what makes them most comfortable and content. I will follow whatever routine is in place or go on adventures. I will ensure the safety and happiness of your pets. Whether drop in visits or walks I will be professional, on time, reliable and dependable. The most important thing in my life is my dog (other than my husband) and I will treat your pets as my own. l have been a customer of Rover for many years and know how much a good sitter means to me. I would like the opportunity to be that for you. Meet and greet is a requirement to ensure your dog is comfortable with me and it is how I start a great relationship with each pet in my care. Knowing the animals temperament, likes and dislikes, feeding and walking schedule will help make the experience a very positive one for all of us!!

Safety, trust & environment
The safety of your dog is my top priority. I will always have your sweet pup on a leash and will take the time they need to explore and get some exercise. I am mindful of areas that have ticks and always conduct a thorough check of the dog (s) upon return to your home.

Suzanne was responsive, prompt, gave my dog a great walk and clearly has passion for animals. It helped me a lot that she was available with very little notice. I’ll definitely book with Suzanne again! Maxie can’t wait for another walk!
Suzanne taught me everything I know about dogs. She loves dogs more than people and she will be first to admit that. In public, she reacts to dogs the way most people react to babies. When I need someone to take care of my dog, Maggie, Suzanne is the first person I think of. When I have a question about the care and feeding of my dog, Suzanne is the first person I reach out to and she responds immediately with amazing advice. And when my dog is driving me crazy by acting like a dog, Suzanne is the first one to empathize while also gently reminding me that my dog is just acting like a dog. In Suzanne is a dog whisperer, and any dog who is in her care is the ultimate “lucky dog”!
Suzanne is the most responsible and caring pet owner that I have ever known! In the 20 years that I have known her, she has had multiple dogs that she treated like family. I would trust her with my children as well as my dog! She is extremely cautious when it comes to her dog Lemmy and his safety—as well as happiness—is a top concern for her. She has watched several dogs at once many times and manages them all, with varying personalities and of varying sizes, with ease. She has a huge heart, wondeful fenced backyard and dog-friendly house, and an unmatched love of our furry friends!
Suzanne is the most loving doggie mom out there. She treats her pup like a member of the family and extends this love to all other pups she meets. Every time she watches my Lola she takes the best care. Suzanne would make a great dog walker or sitter for anyone!
Suzanne has cared for both of my dogs over the years and I completely relax when I know they are in her care. She treated them like they were her own ‘babies’. Suzanne is a true dog whisperer!

Schedule
I am currently available most evenings and weekends. I generally do not have availability weekdays during regular business hours at this time but will work with you to see if I can modify my schedule to see if we can work together.

- Having a dog with anxiety and health issues myself, it is important to me that I provide a safe, fun and enjoyable experience for your pet. I would love to know your pup's stressors, likes, dislikes, etc. Also, if there is anything you want me to be mindful of, or take note of during our time together
