I LOVE animals! Dogs, cats, goats, horses, rabbits, basically all of the furry friends! We've had dogs and cats my whole life (from puppies and kittens to grumpy old men dogs). I've taken care of many of my friends and families dogs in my home and in their homes.

Suzi was fabulous. My 10 year old black lab is getting older and gets anxious about a number of things, and seems to need more attention these days. She moved slowly to make sure Riley felt comfortable and they bonded in short time. I was so relieved to know she was in good hands. Suzi kept in touch with me the entire time. We had a severe thunderstorm one of the nights and Suzi was able to keep Riley calm.I am grateful for her care. My neighbor drove by and said that Suzi and Riley were cuddled on a chair outside! My house was left in perfect condition. HIGHLY Recommend!!!!!!!!
Suzi was wonderful. She took great care of our cats. She was communicative and professional, and sent us lots of photos.
Suzi took really good care of Maggie. We really appreciated her care of our dog just as she was getting over a stomach bug and was on a special diet. We saw how active they were as Suzi sent us pics from the daily hikes - rain (mostly) or shine! We could see how happy our pup was on those hikes.. Our Maggie seemed very happy being with a welcoming family who gave her attention, exercise and cuddles. Maggie was comfortable with their family dog as well. In fact, she was not overly anxious to leave! Suzi has a nice property for a dog to explore and hike. Thank you so much for treating our pup as family! We will definitely re-book with you.
Suzanne and her family took great care of my timid Brittany. We had never been separated before, and it was only the 2nd time in her 6 years of life that she spent nights away from home. Suzanne's son spent a lot of time with her, coaxing her into trusting him and feeling safe with the new situation. Suzanne sent me pictures and text updates, letting me know how my dog was doing at settling in with them. By the time I returned from my trip, Jolie was feeling at home with Suzanne and her family. My ability to enjoy my vacation with my family was made possible by the care and attentiveness Suzanne focused on my dog. I would definitely board Jolie with Suzanne again. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a good, caring home environment for their dog when they have to leave them for a while.
Great experience. We were coming from out of town. Suzie and her son met us at the door and quickly made us comfortable with the arrangements. Sent us great pictures of treat time and their evening walk.
Suzanne & Family took amazing care of our Lola and kept us updated with photos throughout her stay. Great experience for all!

Schedule
Summer hours can vary but someone is generally home to give pets plenty of attention and potty breaks. I’m working 4 nights a week while my husband works 5 days a week and my 12 year old kiddo is on summer break.

Safety, trust & environment
I have six acres with trails for walking your dogs! I have an old, friendly dog plus two dog savvy cats. I do not have a fenced area but will leash walk the dogs (or no leash at owners request). I have hard wood floors and stairs that may not be ideal for tripods or aging senior dogs (unless they’re used to that). I no longer have a kennel, but if you bring one and want your dog kenneled I can do that. Your pup will enjoy lots of pets, snuggles, play time both indoors and outdoors and of course treats (as approved by pet parents)!
Pets
A typical day
Dog/s and I will be walking up the mountain behind the house for light - moderate exercising as needed. We'll relax by the fireplace on cold days or out in the yard on sunny or pleasant days. Dog beds and chew toys are indoors for comfort and fun. My pup is older so she's down for a little playing or a nice long nap. Fresh well water is always available and feeding will be done on your schedule.
