Vet Tech, Dog Groomer & Pet Lover!

I love all animals. I love seeing them happy and playful, and my own dogs enjoy the company of having playmates. Boarding facilities are just too stressful on dogs, especially dogs that have come from a shelter or rescue (like my own Olaf), so I’m happy to provide them with a safe and happy home away from home! I have my veterinary technician degree and have personal experience with animal handling for over 10 years. I've dealt with deaf & blind dogs, dogs with anxiety, aggression, fear, high energy, and dogs with diabetes. No matter what, your pup will be in good hands! I make sure your pooch has plenty of toys to play with and lots of exercise, from running around in the yard and/or going for long walks. If they’re a snuggle bug like me, we will cuddle in the evenings and at bedtime. I give each pet their respected sleeping arrangements, whether in my bed, on the floor, in their own doggie beds, or in a crate (if that’s what makes them the most comfortable). I do require that all pets vacationing with me to be crate trained to prevent damages to my property for short periods of time I may be out of the home. I have 10 years of animal handling experience, which means I can read when a dog is uncomfortable, scared or not feeling well. I also really enjoy their company, so long walks and play time are a must in my house! Aside from providing excellent care for pets, I like to make sure that owners are equally well taken care of too. I love to send lots of pictures, dress up for holidays, and send daily updates to pet parents! I am also a dog groomer; my passion is grooming dogs at the Humane Society of Utah in my free time! I am also willing to add any extra services (bathing, grooming, nail trims) to your pets stay with me, just ask! My dog Olaf was born deaf, but he does not let this hold him back! He loves to play and share his toys with other friendly dogs! I always do a meet-and-greet to make sure our pets are going to get along for first time bookings, since your pet's safety and needs are my top priority!

Suzanne is prompt, friendly, and is great with my dog. She walked my lab for 5 days in o row while I was out of town. I would highly recommend her and will definitely use her again.

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
