Specialize in no-bones pups (the floppy ones, seniors, and special needs. **Not taking those who need a long walks during their stay unless emergency** Will take those who love fetch, going to the beach or other enrichment** Already have had quite an array of characters with great success. Excellent with easing anxiety. Years brushing fur, cleaning ears (yuck!) and taking care of teeth. Have nursed wounds, eyes, and minor surgeries until good as new. Already had special guests, including a deaf puppy, an older guy with daily meds, a very itchy fella with medications, and a puppy prone to eat first, ask questions later. Most guests needed at least one good brushing and a few got baths after unexpected muddy romps. All visits were great successes with happy pets and grateful owners! All dogs must have up-to-date medical records and humans must follow current respiratory prevention recommendations when dropping off or picking up.

Suzy was so concerned about my safety and ability to go to a memorial for a friend. When I was late, she was immediatly understanding, in fact, supportive. It was so lucky that I got in touch with her in the first place. . She greeted us with her two dogs, who were so sweet. She made sure the dogs had a proper introduction and gave me confidence that she would be able to handle my very active Australian cattle dog. All went beautifully.
Susy was great with our dog, who is nervous around strangers. She was easy to communicate with and shared detailed updates and pictures of our pup. Would happily book her again!
Susy treated Leonard like royalty! She sent daily pictures & took suck great care of our pup that he didn’t want to leave.
Susy was fantastic, provided plenty of updates and pictures of my dog during her stay. I keep a Whistle Go on my dog's collar to track her exercise and she received well over the necessary exercise for a young pup. Very happy with our experience and will definitely think of Susy again if we need boarding!
I don’t think my dogs wanted to come home after staying with Susy. She went above and beyond to ensure they were well cared for and happy. I trust her implicitly and will use her again the next time I leave town.
Susy was great with our Zoey! Zoey is very attached to us and we were very nervous to leave her, but Susy soon stole her heart! Zoey made herself right at home and quickly became protective over Susy, which means she must have been giving lots of love and treatos to Zoey. Susy sent lots of pictures and updates that showed just how much love Susy was giving Zoey and how much fun Zoey was having! Would definitely recommend trusting Susy with your pets :)

Schedule
Home all-day and while walking is limited; attention is not! Time outside, games, and enrichment are unlimited! Two other adults live with me and provide attention and warm laps, too.

Safety, trust & environment
I spend the first 24 hours bonding with your pups. I have a radio fenced yard. All dogs are 100% accompanied outside, leashed. Most dogs bond strongly enough to mosey around the yard and sun themselves on the deck unleashed. Another family member and I play fetch to assure fetchers and zoomies stay in the yard. I NEVER take chances!

A typical day
Fetch and zoomies in backyard. No physical fence, but multiple humans play so they can't run off. Most dogs won't after bonding with me! Play any game dog wants, or sit on the couch all day! I knit, which lap dogs love. We are near a beach, which active dogs love! Built in lap-sitting options with an adult child living at home. I maintain training consistent with yours and can informally offer advice for training or working with special needs dogs.
